I am in love with the new x1 controller, but I really want to see the steam controller succeed, so will probably pick one up asap, and depending on how it holds up will determine if I get the x1 controller. Wow that was a really long sentence!

I think the biggest issue I'm seeing discussed are with games that need buttons and camera movement, like assassin's creed. Luckily, they have those two buttons on the back that could be used in place of the Y and X buttons. I've also seen suggestions that Y and X are just bound to less combat oriented actions.
