Having only watched the gif at the top of the page, the only real question here is: “Where the hell did that ref come from?”

It’s been a couple years since I’ve been to a MotoGP race, but it was a lot of fun. There are a lot of good locations at COTA to be amazed at how far those guys lean over in the corners. And a lot of good locations for pictures. :)

+1 for pictures of then-new 2010 Lancer GTS’s with paper plates that are still owned and driven by their original owners!

I am torn. One hand Bottas is my favorite driver and I would love to see him finally get an opportunity to drive a top-tier car. On the other hand, I like Williams and would hate to see them continue to lose ground due to inexperience behind the wheel.

Stewards handed O’Connell a 2.1 second penalty? Is there a reason for such an odd time penalty? Maybe they determined he deserved to finish 5th instead of first and tailored a time penalty to get that result? That’s a pretty strange practice if so.
