I do not expect it to win. But I picked Papers, Please.

I loved the old SimCity games. I didn't buy this one, but my friends did. I really wanted EA and Maxis to turn this around. I was not keen on multiplayer, but if I had friends maybe it would be okay. The launch was bad, my buddies had buyer's remorse, but I wanted to hold out hope it would mold itself out somehow.
Well they need to do SOMETHING. Is this the right move? We'll have to find out.
It's so nice to see so many of you try and put me in my place and feel better about yourselves.
Ooh, did I hurt your little pansy feelings because I don't do what you say?
Yuh. This thread alone is a fine enough reminder of how many morons who don't think things through you can piss off.
Dude, I'm a Steam fanboy. That's what a free service should be like. Not that second-rate thing you go to bed with called PSN. Please do yourself a favor, and disabuse yourself of the notion that a passable service will suffice for this generation.
Touche, but not my problem.
Eh. You're so invested in this, you find 'em. It's already public knowledge Sony (the whole the company, not just their games business) was losing money at the start of 2013. You can find that easily enough.
And it goes back to my point: invest in your services and ask your customers to pay. It helps you improve your services. Customers get served better.
It's not rocket science, Americans.
I didn't need that long for you.
For all the 'doing well', they don't make money out of it. They actually spend money to maintain those servers, and even the sales on PSN don't do enough to bankroll it. And to be publicly ridiculed for lax security and losing the faith of your customers, that's not a "mosquito bite".
Some day I will forget you lived. Like everyone else in your sad life.
Still need it. I hear everyone who does, and I'd love to filter them out.
You are correct. I just recently updated the PS3 and now my current internet can't get picked up. It's as if every update demands the users to beef their networks, and not the other way around.
Oh you must be the consultant that Nintendo hired! No wonder the WiiU is doing so well selling consoles with first party games and their own free network.
Government intervention forcing millions of your loyal customers to not avail of a service they bought your hardware to enjoy sounds a lot like a struggle to me. The feds intervening because your company became a public security threat to millions? Yeah. That's awful. I guess we have different ideas of what a struggle…
Actually no. I play on Steam and PSN. And free service ain't that cut out to be. And I had to work through 7 years of shooting trolls like you.
Now that you mention it, I smell a rat whenever somebody in Microsoft talks about using costs for Live to reinvest in the service.
But it's historically way better than PSN. I mean, you can't even mute people there!
