The summer olympics in Tokyo probably won’t have too many ice sports. The winter olympics in Beijing in 2022 are probably more likely to have ice related sports.

Yes and No. Though I don’t believe your part about absolutes, one has to consider looking at strictly “highlight reels” as evidence. How many times has he “attempted” to skate through everyone only to leave his partner hanging in an odd man rush? Someone up there made a good point about this is the time to get a young

One ended up in Sacramento.

“Hey, who was the Mexican who finished last?”

Oh ok. Don’t engage and come up with some serious points that we can discuss and talk about. Just insult me and leave.

Glenn Winston was kicked off the team.

I get it, you’re mad that a reporter told readers and viewers some facts that make you pucker.

“that Izzo and Dantonio covered up reports and hindered investigation.”...The report said that the school didn’t properly report the assaults and accusations to police or to the government and handled investigations internally.

I think Baylor’s staff were intentionally deceptive and therefore more evil. I think Michigan State’s administration was tragically inept (and still is).

The problem with ESPN’s reporting is that it never mentioned any evidence of it’s claim - that Izzo and Dantonio covered up reports and hindered investigations. All of the incidents that they brought up were well known and covered by local press. Four of the “claims” against Dantonio were the result of one incident

Wow, so this kid wasn’t even a student at the school when this happened but here’s ESPN and Deadspin trying to connect it to the larger issue? Our media SUCKS in this country. They withhold key pieces of information for the clicks.

Which “well-sourced” reports again?

It should be noted that Washington, a Freshman, hasn’t seen a second of play time this year, and that he wasn’t yet a student in August.

It’s why I’ve just stopped listening to pre-game stuff and reading previews. It’d be different if Spurs were playing Bayern, because they really did have a huge turnaround after Carlo left. But Juve had some pretty obvious struggles early on (I mean, this is their first season in years where they’re not in first in

“The NHL’s revenues and franchise values are growing at a slower rate than the other three major sports. Its viewership and TV rights grows more slowly than golf, NCAA properties, NASCAR, etc.”

Yeah, totally. And if an asteroid hit the field during the match, everyone would have lost.

Hard to tell if Arsenal is fun to watch, given that they’re playing “Ostersunds” in a non-televised Europa League round-of-32 game instead of holding their own with Juventus.

Spurs don’t even make you mad, they’re actually funny to you, actually.

Well lets have some fun. You are wrong about Gary Bettman and heres why; He took a failing league and turned it profitable (725 Million in revenue his first year to 4.5 billion last).

Whether Bettman is good at his job (I personally think he’s fairly decent, but that’s a much different discussion) or a good negotiator has nothing to do with this. The NHL was in a complete position of strength. As Norm Charlatan points out in his reply to me, the NHL was already trying to monetize it’s Olympics-type
