Off topic, but I’m at a Sixers game a few weeks ago. There were about 15,000 there to see them play the Hawks, probably based on a combination of Embiid fans, and the fact that people who bought packages to see the Cavs/Warriors/Thunder were forced into including the game in their package. Time comes for the national

“I feel like the opportunities to get seriously injured in hockey are exponentially greater. “

the charge generally relates to what evidence the prosecution has and can prove beyond a reasonable doubt, as well as what the state’s law requires to prove each element of murder. Generally, murder requires preconceived intent to cause great bodily harm.

Trump supporters are dumb, racist assholes. All of them.

Normally wanting to get out there and play for the Oilers would be a sure sign of a head injury so I can see where they’re coming from.

...as someone that (sorta) does marketing? I’d wager they had a small discussion about what the best way to market it was. Partly because... it’s their flipping job to do that, and, yeah, this is a really serious, sensitive subject.

Meh, maybe. I play FIFA 17 mobile game and changed my crest/kit to Chape as soon as I read about it, not knowing what else to do. I am a fan of the sport, but not the Liga do Brasil so I wasn’t really familiar with the club. A few hours later they sent out a message suggesting everyone do it, and I thought it was

And everyone reporting on the story is getting page views which makes money so reporting on this is taking advantage of a tragedy.

your view is stupid

I’d argue that “taking advantage” of the tragedy would be doing something like, “hey get a super rare Chapecoense kit, randomly available in Ultimate Team card packs!”

So? Would you rather they do nothing so that you can feel better about things?

So what?

Really guy, really. Its free and it is in response to a tragic incident. I know EA is usually a cross between hitler, satan and miley cyrus, but come on. I dont think the marketing team used this to gain any sales on a game that is already crushing it world wide. Man, I thought I was the most cynical person in the

Where exactly is their “advantage” here?

If you’re response is “I follow plenty of foreign leagues and understand the pressures of finances and continued relevance” then you don’t understand how this sport works in other countries in regards to this tragedy.

These teams often are, not part, the fabric of communities.

Nobody is forcing any decision on them. They’re simply making those decisions easier by removing typical restrictions.

It isn’t but we’ve seen this happen historically and it has crippled clubs. Torino took almost 30 years to win another Serie A after losing Grande Torino in the Superga disaster, they were religated not too long after losing their entire team bar two players.

I don’t think you understand how this sport works in other parts of the world.

Absolutely they should.
