That was a definite one off. I don’t think a lesser driver would have achieved the same result, fantastic as it may have been. I 100% think that by next year, they’ll be on par with THIS year’s Mercedes and Ferrari engines.

Really the turbo engines of the last era didn’t sound fantastic either. They were a bit more throaty but they were nothing compared to the V8s, V10s and V12s of the same era.
Really astounded no one wants it considering that the only team who runs it and who also happens to be one of the most well funded teams in F1 with a fine chassis development team was celebrating a 6th place finish last weekend. Come on Honda. Are you really shocked? I don’t think they are. Apparently they have a very…
I like Matt LeBlanc. He always seems to be a bit more genuine than most other celebrities but at the beginning of this season, I wasn’t 100% sold on him. I thought he was okay but maybe this hosting wasn’t for him or he hasn’t found his footing. After that 911R review, he’s got it. That was something straight out of…
I’m sorry, you HAVE to be hyper competitive. You would never get to this level unless you’re willing to fuck people over. Look at Schumacher, Senna, Prost, Mansell... we consider them greats now but at some point in their careers, they were looked down upon for their arrogance/aggression/etc. You have to have the…
I have to disagree. On a car show, her love for cars is evident even with a slight language barrier. She’s quite entertaining. LeBlanc, Harris, Reid, Schmitz is a good line up IMO.
Loved his response when Lewis was like “I think your just using the seagulls...” Seb’s response: “I’m a racing driver, I have to find some kind of excuse as to why you beat me today.”
Wow... I’m not entirely sure, but that has to be one of the cruelest losses in the history of motorsport. That finish could not have gone any worse for Toyota. A stellar performance by them all day.
I’m not taking either side but some people just have an unbelievable ability to take physical punishment, including bullets. Imagine the human equivalent of a bear. The cop may have shot 4 times hoping the suspect would go down and when he didn’t the cop had to shoot him again. There’s really not enough to go by in…
So because some cops do stupid shit sometimes, they should all do stupid shit all of the time? That makes a lot of sense.
Those cops were pretty chill though. Sounded like they were telling the story to a friend at the bar rather than some random bystander.
I think he’s talking more of the possibility of the bullet missing the tire or going through the tire and ricocheting off the ground. I’m sure if there’s even a 1% chance of that happening, with the number of people who were around, that’s not a chance the NYPD wants to take. That’s a lawsuit and a half.
Couldn’t agree more. Horner is just trying to cover their collective asses. They’ve raced in Monaco. There’s no excuse, especially from the highest funded team in F1.
I thought everyone was alright except Evans. Once they get comfortable, I think they’ll jive well.
They were close but Hamilton is phenomenally skilled. Trying to get past him was almost a lost cause. Everything went Red Bull’s way until it didn’t.
Yea, realistically where else can Red Bull challenge? Singapore? Maybe... I’m not really sure which tracks are more chassis sensitive other than singapore and Monaco. Possible Hungary? I know the big power tracks are coming up: Monza, Silverstone, Spa, and they’ll still be at somewhat of a disadvantage there. That…
According to Christian Horner it was due to Monaco’s “unusual pit lane arragement” and a last second change in tire strategy. Red Bull had originally planned to put softs on Ricciardo’s car but when they saw Mercedes put Hamilton on the ultra softs, they decided to put Ricciardo on super softs instead. Because of the…
Drove like a world champion all weekend to be let down by the team. Still can’t believe it. That pole lap was just blistering.
I’ve got to hand it to Ricciardo for keeping his cool in the post race press conference. The devastation in his answers was so apparent. I don’t think I’ve seen another driver so blatantly put the team on blast. It wasn’t disrespectful but he’s certainly not just walking this one off.
Basically...
