Adaptive cruise is great. Maybe you thought you were setting the distance, and not the time from the vehicle. On our CX-5, the closest setting is 2 seconds, which is the standard follow distance. On the interstate, it’s a lot further than in-town (driving on 55 mph roads for long distances, with small towns along the

So same as the Toyota Sienna? Not sure if they still place it there, but that’s where I last found one on that van. I think that one was a 2014 or ‘15.

Man... as much as I love Chicago (not far from me), that’s heartbreaking... unless the company was just in super bad shape, but I can’t imagine. We need to be sending Portillo’s to Texas though for sure.

This thing is cancer.

Getting a star from me for referencing the Wheelbarrow.

Weird. Our Wendy’s fries aren’t batter covered. I hope it isn’t coming to our area... (of course it is)... that’ll make me sad.

Bought my Miata in Houston. I’m in Indiana, seventeen hours away. I drove down on a weekend and back with my new used MX-5... Literally my first trip to Texas. Only thing I did was go to Whataburger. Goddamn... that was fantastic. Absolutely lives up to the hype, unlike In-n-Out, which tastes like sadness.

Guy in a similar brodozer lived down the street from me. Lifted, but 4wd. The 4wd did NOTHING in that four inches of snow (a good foot and a half or so from the bottom of the truck). Meanwhile, I pass by in my Saabaru on H-rated all seasons, and casually drive up my inclined driveway. Sat in there and enjoyed the

Careful, you’ll rile up Donald Trump. ;)

Yeah that’s my take away as well... they probably bought one or something, and have to now justify it to everyone. We’ve all been there with less extreme purchases.

I lack almost all dignity these days... with that said, even I couldn’t ride one of these around. That’s a little *too* much shame, and I’d tire of telling people I didn’t actually get a DUI, and that I do indeed have a license.

I didn’t even think of that. I’m the same height, no mods needed. Very comfortable car for long trips (just don’t plan on listening to an audio book). ;)

Went the opposite direction. At a place to afford far more, so I bought a car that’s $300 cheaper (actual money, not adjusted for year) than my first car bought in 1993. It’s too risky to spend 50k just to be bored, which seems to be the path a lot of people go these days.

If you don’t need extra space, go for the NC pictured. I did at your age, and it’s been wonderful. I paid like 9700 for a loaded NC with 51k miles, nearly perfect shape from a non-snowy state. I’m a few years later now, and a bit under 80k. Been the best car I’ve owned, and ALMOST the cheapest too.

Fortunately a difference I’ll never notice. I’ve always loved the Ridgeline... this is that, but more appropriate for people like me where even a Ridgeline is overkill. I can’t believe I’m STRONGLY considering a Ford, but here we are...

Yes. Morons give their data to people other than Apple.

You guys all need to check Iowa 80 truck stop if you’re ever within 150 miles of it. I had my whole life as a trucker planned out by the time I left last time!

Welcome board, dawg!

Sounds like someone is doing their best to justify a boring and severely limited drivetrain layout.
