I increasingly eat lunch earlier each day... it’s 9:48 here and I was thinking about it.

My people. If I wasn’t so introverted, I’d probably ask to hang out... haha
Well to be honest, who’d know THAT... ;)
Today is my 40th birthday. I plan on celebrating by leaving work at noon, and watching Matlock. Dinner at 3 PM... With that... I drive a 2016 TransitConnect here at work (cargo) and I absolutely LOVE it; it is a fantastic van. Vantastic. My parents were boomers and are both dead, so I’ll lust after this since they…
I saw a pack of deer at night (gang? I dunno what you call a group of them) and panicked, locking up my rear tire (didn’t crash)... obviously a huge fear of mine as well. I always tried to hard to not be in unlit rural areas at night on that thing.
We had a family friend hit a deer on his motorcycle... it was and…
If it’s bigotry to call people out on their stupidity, then that’s what I am; a proud bigot. I’m not tolerant, and nobody should be.
Well it IS a Lotus.
Shit I replied to the wrong thing. I totally screwed that up.
I’m not sure if I replied to the right thing, but I was thinking of the G35... man I hate the comments section here. :)
Anyway, I had thought a newer (last gen) Accord V6 manual could destroy a G35, no? Obviously I’d rather go for RWD... but still.
It isn’t a bad car at all. I know a new Accord V6 can spank it, but jesus it took them seventeen years to get there.
Then there’s some of us who are embarrassed by the label. I wish my G35x was just badged as a Nissan. I know it’s an old car, I know what it cost (not much), but I keep it clean and a lot of people I work with make comments about how Rob “makes the big bucks,” and I *really* hate that. One of these dudes was driving a…
I’m counting on low resale value. I’m attracted to reliable cars with shitty resale, which is why I’ve been driving so many Nissans over the years. Currently working with an 05 G35x. It’s only got 105k so still a lot of fight, but cost less than a Fit when I bought it at 51k miles seven years back.
I’ll buy one in 5-6 years when they actually *are* affordable. I’d be interested in seeing if the AWD ruins the experience. That’d be more livable for me here in the arctic tundra of the midwest.
I’m rocking a 14-year-old G35x. It has a radio and a 6-disc changer, neither of which I use. I added a Parrot MKi9000 bluetooth thing and it’s really all I’d want in infotainment. I’ve got a Rokform case and one of their magnet mounts stuck to the screen of the OEM radio... slap my iPhone 7+ on there and BAM! Instant…
I’m 40, and you aren’t. One day I may spend as much as $20k on a car, but typically I set my limit to $15k... MAAAYYBE $16.5k. I *CAN* afford a more expensive vehicle, but I don’t understand why I would piss that kind of coin away.
I installed a Nismo solid shift in my S14a... THAT was nice. Gave it a nicer feel, a bit more crisp, but wasn’t a short-throw. I really found it to be perfect. More upgrades like that, please.
I wouldn’t consider a Jeep 4Runner competition. People who want a 4Runner are generally wanting the reliability of a Toyota.
I’m not mad about it. That was badass, and the SU-27 is one of my favorites. Enjoy the show and move on... we were in the back yard.
I normally hate this sort of thing, but it’s so well done. I love it. Tiny little Mustang? I’d drive it every day.
Weaponizing your corpse... I like it.
