with the standard version having a targa top all the redesign/tooling needed for a “full” vert is dumb. Sure there will be old/feeble ‘vette owners that can’t take off the targa top by themselves, but how many of these will actually be driving with the top down on the vert?

Pontiac Fiero badging would be better...

What a weird argument to make. The C8 is something that every Jalop should be celebrating, regardless of your brand loyalty

1982 called, it wants its post back.

I think they will figure it out:

Starting price at less than $60k.... Consider the game changed.

I don’t believe it for a second. Sure there are a lot of unique 911 configurations ordered every year, but some of the special editions are pretty much locked into a certain options configuration. You can’t tell me that they’re not producing x-special edition car with all the standard options and nothing more in

FLAT BOTTOM WHEELS MAKE THE ROCKIN’ CAR GO ROUND! 🎸♫♪♫

I relate to much of what this guy says. I have had a ‘67 Alfa Duetto for 27 years now, longer than any other person has owned my car. I restored it once, and now it is well on its way back to decrepitude. I came into some money when my dad died, and I thought about sending it out for a rotisserie to really fix it

Tough call, but I voted CP because $6400 buys a lot of ED meds.

Weird flex, but OK...

I hate these companies more than anybody I know for clogging the sidewalks and turning a blind eye to the behavior of their riders, but even I draw the line at cut brakes (and yeeting them into bodies of water with aquatic life, for that matter—these garbage-piles are pretty toxic!).

You know what’s fucking hilarious? Matt’s route is SOME OF THE MOST DESIRABLE LA REAL ESTATE!!!!

Three of the four had my hard $$ in as “Founders Stock” capital.
We were doing a lot of consumer grade networking/peripherals/mobile stuff— some of which is VERY ubiquitous today. Like literally EVERYWHERE you look in phones and PCs and entertainment products.

Everywhere you live has something shit about it. NYC is a fucking spectacular place to live. Why do you think people are willing to spend so much per square foot just to live there?  The NYC juice is worth the squeeze

The early Renaults like the 1900 model you show used a thermosiphonic cooling system; there’s no water pump. Instead, the temperature difference between the hot water in the block and the cold water in the exposed radiator creates enough circulation by convection to transfer the heat.

This has to stop.

I’m completely with you. I think my perfect two-car toy bin would be this and a Lancia 037 Stradale with the table wing.

What’s next for the ride-hailing giant?
