I looked at the CT6 last year due to Super Cruise. The rest of the vehicle wasn’t good enough to justify buying one just for that admittedly awesome trick, and they refused at the time to put Super Cruise on anything else - even the V version of the same car.

Beat all of us to it apparently. Nice.

I assume the individual ones will be named after Presidents, starting with Jefferson.

Easy. I’ve thought about this a lot.

Not a huge fan of Turo but I think the their in this sentence must refer to *Turo’s* insurance or it doesn’t make any sense.

That’s right.  T&R Automotive.  It seems weird to go to a gas station to get your Ferrari worked on but he has a good rep in the community.

I rarely buy lottery tickets but I did a few weeks ago when it was up over $1BN and we had a conversation at work about what we would do with the money.

I don’t know if the 2500 uses the same system as the E9, but the problem I have is that the wiper blades are pressed onto a knurled nut are over the course of ~40 years the inside of all available driver blades are so used that they won’t turn with the nut more than 1-2 times. So if I get caught in the rain I usually

XKR - but I also have a modified E9 and a 328 GTS.  I bought the Jag so I could have a modern gentleman’s GT car, and it is definitely that, but I should have probably had a more modern 4-door instead.  I’m open to options - maybe an E63 wagon or maybe Porsche will lease me a Panamera Sport Turismo until my Mission E

Philosophically I don’t think most people *love* their jobs unless they are artists or run their own businesses. But I really like my job, it’s challenging and stimulating, and I like the people I work with. Which I think is a reasonable goal.

It’s all relative.  See my other response along the same lines.

To each their own.

Bridge 1/2 furlong ahead, 6 cubits in height, if you are carrying more than 3 hogsheads of mead you shall not pass.

Well, they raise prices to juuuuust under matching.  But yeah.

Upsides and downsides.  I make a good living.  Last time I had a real vacation where I didn’t have to work was 2005 or 2006 and so far this year I’ve had 1 total day off (it was July 4th).

Last week at the place I get my cars detailed there was an identical G550 parked next to mine, except with the designo package from the same year.

I personally agree for me. Even though I love to drive fast, I’d much prefer in the course of driving fast mostly legally, to use 80-90% of a car’s capability. The M6GC I got rid of earlier this year was the perfect example of a car that basically can’t be used that way anywhere in the US, and therefore most of the

This always leads to the old question: how much money do you really need to retire? Depends on so many factors like place of residence and lifestyle that there is never going to be a simple one-size-fits-all answer.  I always thought $10M invested plus having your primary residence paid off would result in a very

Huh? I don’t understand this at all. Even if you think the market is at a historically high place there are numerous types of investments to deal with this. But really you personally don’t do anything, you pay someone to do it for you. (Overseas accounts are probably worse if you are a US citizen because of the

The only reason to take the annuity over the lump sum is if you absolutely can’t trust yourself.
