Modeled on Bob Hawke one would presume, although the best Australian PM story is the disappearance of Harold Holt in the 60s.

Signal Green was the one I was thinking of. There was an M3 in that color at BMW SF (may still be there) on the showroom floor last time I was there. I would have been interested except it only had 2 pedals and I’ll never buy another DCT car.

You can get the current M3 in green from the factory! Probably not the green you’re thinking of however.

A lot of people are going to think you’re being sarcastic because of the idiotic US stereotype of the French, but the technocrats there are amazingly good at difficult high-tech infrastructure.

I came here to say I loved the graphics, but that’s really just the door and rear bumper. I wonder how easy it would be to remove the stripe?

Thinking further: unless you count the i8 as either FF *and* MR at the same time. Sneaky.

The i8 really qualifies as MR if you are looking at the gas engine setup only. The electric motor drives the front wheels.

The i8 is technically AWD right? The electric motors power the front wheels and the gas motor powers the rear wheels (as well as charging the battery).

There’s some surprisingly good car spotting in Atomic Blonde. I give it an A for style and cinematography, and like a B- for story, but there’s at least one A car chase in there as well.

Agree on Ronin, but how did you end up with the S8? Here’s my post-Ronin BAT impulse purchase.

Yeah but here in ‘Murica they’d need to sell this with at least a V2 or no-one would buy it.

What’s the total price to buy it, then have it sent to Mars?

Thanks for this. My father, also a WWII vet, didn’t like to talk about his service either. It was only when he got much older that he ever told any stories, and I’m sure there were a bunch he didn’t tell.

Well in my case maybe the technology had changed between 1965 and 1990? But I certainly learned my lesson.

In college I had a 1965 Plymouth Fury that I used as my campus car. I decided that I needed to change out the plugs, plug wires, distributor, etc. because it was running rough and had never been changed (the car was about 25 years old at this point).

I’ve ridden in several of these and they appear to make good city cars. Never driven one (although I’ve driven the big brother about 6500 miles now), but a friend who has had all manner of exotics had one for about a year as his commuter and said it was more fun to commute in than most of the F-cars since it was

I thought it was the KFC! But when I went to see the Pyramids I was surprised how close that little strip mall was to the Sphinx.

I saw this the other day on BAT. If we were further along in the year (say, June), I would most likely buy this. I agree that the next one will probably come up for sale half past never.

My father came *so close* to buying one of these brand new. I had a 1990 RX7 convertible at the time and he was impressed with that car’s value proposition compared to what else was on the market at the time, so he looked seriously at these. I thought it was the nicest car he looked at but he went back to the

This older XKCD is relevant to the electric car charge plug issue:
