Friends bought a house a couple of years ago 3 blocks from Ocean Beach with a 3-car garage (but you could also put in lifts and park 6 if you really wanted to). It exists but not in the most desirable neighborhoods, or at least for anything approaching even a reasonable-for-SF price.

“the risk of some addict smashing their window in order to steal the tollbooth change out of the center console”

I bought a house in San Francisco earlier this year. I have a lot of cars, and parking in SF is always at a premium with small spaces, so I felt lucky to get a 2-car garage (even if the second car gets parked on a sliding platform that moves it from the “garage door” position to the side of the garage, making it hard

“He said that several of the things he had done to George, such as locking him in the boot of a car and hosing him down with a pressure cleaner, were things most of the apprentices were subjected to and that they would always be laughing at the end.”

That’s what I’m hoping! I never put it past a car manufacturer to screw up something that would otherwise be awesome. (Cf. I currently don’t own an Alfa Giulia, but if it had 3 pedal I would.)

I currently own an M6 and an i8, and used to own an 850i. I’m probably the target market for this.

Mortons? *Maybe* Mastros.

Corgi makes great model kits.

Guess what I paid for my M6GC? I’ll give you hint, the first number was a “1" but the second number was also a “1" - and mine has the competition package and CCB (which I would never option for street use, they squeak like crazy unless you stand on them once in a while).

I love that this dealer orders odd combo cars, and I guess I hope they sell them to someone so they end up in the used market. But as someone that often has more money than sense when it comes to buying unique variants, and is a huge BMW fan, and a huge wagon fan, these are all huge NFWs at this price. Where does

About 5 years ago I was parking my car on the street in SF Saturday afternoon around 3PM when a worker started putting up “NO PARKING” signs indicating that they planned to start working on the street or the building next to it at 7AM the next morning. Right on the sign it said that the sign must be posted at least

I applaud the decision to replace the DCT with a normal automatic, although if the regular manual is gone I’m not happy about that. I have complained on these pages numerous times about the DCT in my M6GC, and I can’t imagine it getting better if BMW goes up in power.

The head of my law firm is global services. Sounds nice, but I don’t want to travel that much ever.

United Global Services customers have gotten fairly special services forever. I don’t think this is particularly new. Heck, if you’re in the front of the plane you don’t go through the standard security line in any airport I’ve been to in the past 10 years.

Whenever I hear crap like this officer said, I want to ask what the maximum that person would be willing to forfeit for some kind of bullshit government charge. No matter how much money you make, you shouldn’t be forced to throw money away.

The only downside with the Panamera is that it is likely to have the PDK. I hate automated manuals with a fiery passion, although I only have about 5 minutes of seat time with a Porsche PDK.

I’m definitely getting an uber-wagon to replace my M6 when it’s done. That’s the only type of vehicle I’ve never owned.

I do all the same things. I’ve been pulled over probably 15-20 times (although some were not for speeding), and only gotten 3 speeding tickets. Two of those I was clearly going to get from the beginning since they were revenue-generation stops (you can just tell), and one of them was when I was driving a pretty
