I just asked my flunky and she said don’t call me that. Weird.

I drive a black i8 and I signal every time. I also don’t push into traffic because I figure most people just don’t give a shit.

I looked at a cool warehouse space in SF years ago where the garage was basically part of the living room - which had polished concrete floors. They had it set up for 2 cars but if you like cars you could adjust furniture and probably have parked 15-20 cars depending on the type and how much you want your wife to

As an ex-engineer I think I should feel bad now but somehow I just - I don’t know, don’t feel anything?

This is great for enthusiasts! I was the 2nd owner of an E39 M5 that was previously owned by a dentist that never really drove it hard, he just bought it because it was the top-of-the-line 5 series. Bad for him and his wallet, great for me.

Timely. I just dropped my i8 off for it’s annual service this morning - I assume they change the oil, top off the fluids, and polish the electrons - and was driven to the office in one of the BMW shuttles, all of which are i3s. The guy driving the i3 was talking about the upcoming i5, which I hadn’t heard of.

FYI you can raise your withdrawal limit. I think mine is around $2k.

We are on the same page. I could Lemons the crap out of this.

Good for Tesla.

Now playing

I love you Australia but some of your laws are pretty asinine. One of them is an anti-hoon law that applies on private property.

The Islero is my second-favorite Lambo ever after the Miura. I’d take that super nice dark blue one if I had a spare $380k lying around. Let me check the couch cushions - just a sec.

Yup, they are lightweight steetable race cars alright.

The increase in the value of the house you live in is a little different from having a lot of excess spending cash don’t you think? If he was making money flipping houses that would be another thing.

I’m not a Corbyn fan, but aren’t most houses near London worth about that or more now? I thought I read they were over 600k pounds on average. A few friends have moved out of London recently and have been shocked how much their houses and flats have sold for - and I live in SF!

I wonder if this is a US/Canada difference? (Or maybe there are packages that I just always get and don’t notice.) My 2001 1M had the same functionality as my ‘15 and ‘16 cars.

I own several cars, and every car I own except one (the LX450 - and that’s only because I don’t drive it enough to care) has the ability to charge an iPhone and do playback through the lighting port. I have to believe this is generally easy functionality to add.

The M235i doesn’t charge and do audio input at the same time? That’s nuts, especially since I’ve had 4-5 modern BMWs since 2011 with the same or similar setups that do both charge and input from the USB port.

Yeah same. This comment requires clarification.

That’s relatively common in German car companies actually. I think it says more about the relative social skills of the normal German person than anything else. (I keed, I keed - I love the Germans.)

Ah, the old Arbeitsnehmerfindergesetz. It actually comes up surprisingly often at my job.
