The fact that you think that “they” in your post is comparable to “they” being used as a singular pronoun that a person uses to refer to themselves is just hilarious. Typical for this crowd.

Buddy, not one instance in any of those articles pertains to the use as a pronoun of a single person. The mental gymnastics needed to get there is hilarious. Well, Shakespeare used they to refer to a mother, but also all mothers, so it kind of fits, isn’t an example of they as a singular pronoun.

Correct, Academia would constitute part of that echo chamber. See idiots protesting on college campuses with faculty support. 

Please feel free to point out where “they” has ever been used to commonly reference a single person in any modern society.

She’s obviously mentally ill and has only continued to receive work out of the kindness and charity of people like Seth Rogen whom she so casually condemns.
