You’re welcome. :)
You’re welcome. :)
Ooooo, THANK YOU
Found it!
I read an interview with Nic Pizzolatto; it was real. But he debunked my theory that Wayne knew what he was doing. Boo.
It would have been much easier if he’d just put Tequila on the jukebox and danced on the bar.
I don’t think Tom was really capable of carrying out a murder which wouldn’t be discovered until many years later. Plus, he was headed to the Hoyt estate immediately after without time to dispose of the body. I’m pretty sure Harris James found out that Dan had led Tom to the Hoyts and got rid of him for that reason.…
Yeah, I believe Wayne solved Julie’s true fate, assisted by the insight he had gained from Amelia, one informed more by love and family. And Roland of course was crucial in getting there.
“I viewed it as Hays eventually disappearing into the nothingness of his fading memories and time, just like him slipping silently into the jungle like he was never there.”
He won their respect!
*CUT TO BLACK*
WE HAVE TO GO BACK, WAYNE. WE HAVE TO GO BAAAAAAAACK
“I’ve lived my life doing the right thing and now I sort of just murdered a man and I can't tell anyone that secret" tends to fuck with people.
Yeah but the possible extent of his obsession would is rather small. “I must find Julie! Boom, there she is!”
That line did hit home if you have or had a loved one suffering from memory problems. Have you ever heard “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” by Glen Campbell?
The final scene revealed that Hays has been lost in the jungles of the island from LOST this WHOLE TIME!
Roland straight up kicked every biker’s butt. It took eight guys to hold him down. And then they gave him more alcohol! Impressive.
Yeah, I just thought that was a breadcrumb to the audience that Hays and West might learn Julie’s real fate after all.
Harris James paid her a lot of money to keep quiet about the whereabouts of her daughter. She took it. I think it was implied that the guilt she felt and the money she had led to a drug binge and an OD.
What’s left to pursue? He’s got the finish line in his pocket. Slam dunk.
Roland may have been looking for punishment like Junius, but he didn’t just stand there like a dope, he kicked some serious biker ass. And I agree that Dorff's performance was one of the nicest surprises in a long time.
