No, the lesson here is to always take it case by case. It means you believe and support a person who appears to be a victim of a crime, but you verify the facts before castigating (through countless articles and social media posts) an entire group of people because of who they voted for in 2016 because that victim

Allegedly they found magazines with pages torn out that they believe were used to create the original letters at the brothers apartment.

I’m confused, this seems like an unbiased report of this story...I thought this was the Root? I noticed that you forgot a fact in your timeline so I put it back in:

If he did send that letter, that’s a federal indictment.

The safest thing to do was to remain silent about it until actual suspects were confirmed or charges were handed out (professional reporting notwithstanding), as the entire narrative appeared to stand on shaky ground.

If we abandon reason and logic in favor of blindly pushing agendas i’m afraid it will get even worse.”

If?

Did he also mail the fake anthrax to his set?

Here are the AV Club headlines we would have seen if this were an apparent attack on a minor character from Last Man Standing:

Time to change the caption -.

Less than a day as it turns out.

Supplying a self-reported, self-generated PDF of your own communications to the police in a matter like this is akin to diagnosing yourself, and telling your doctor to write you a prescription for Oxy. It just does not work like that, and he cannot expect the police to do anything further without his data. Forensic

Literally NOBODY is saying the story is fabricated “because he’s gay”. They’re saying it because IT’S CRAP! 2 AM, subzero windchill, and these “MAGA” guys are just out walking around with a half-assed noose and bleach, hoping to run into... who? A cast member of a hip hop soap opera who they recognize on sight?

Nope, they said it was unconfirmed. Because unlike the idiots in mainstream media, the police like to confirm the facts before sharing the full story. Besides, you really think these two Nigerian brothers who worked on Empire are the racist, trump-loving assailants he talked about?

At least you admit that facts don’t matter. And, by the way, the two people who were arrested are black and one was an extra. His story is a lie.

So maybe I just saw what wasn’t there, but my understanding was that Bob and Linda were taking the kids as a way to sort of diffuse the situation and not have to be alone together while they were mad. My parents totally did that so again maybe I’m just projecting.
The other thing, and what I thought gave the whole

This whole episode was worth it for the line:

Bob asking (to no response) repeatedly why broken beds were so great all of a sudden was classic; and piles of laundry are pretty horrible, in general.

They have the meats. So, it’s a hostage situation.

Oh wow, I laughed so much during this episode. The absurd imagination of the Belcher kids is a treasure.

“Wait, what did you think I meant?”
