I haaaaate Last Christmas. And because there are apparently so many covers of it by pop stars, the local radio station winds up playing it more than any other Christmas song. I can’t take it.

I agree. I thought maybe I should go back and read it all again, but leaving this comment seemed like a better use of my time.
You nailed the landing on that. Outstanding finish.
But this is their worst performing movie. And other MCU movies post-Covid have done okay at the box office, even if not as well as the pre-Covid films. That can’t just be explained by Disney+.
These last two Scream movies were bad. But Ortega is actually a name that could attract more people. Letting her walk over money seems stupid.
They’ve tried to develop new characters, but it felt contrived and they were all basically invincible. The sisters aspect could’ve been interesting, but even that’s gone now. Just kill it already.
vikings didn’t have horned helmets.
Well now I want to watch this movie.
Yeah, I get that. I just think it’s an exaggeration, the most extreme version of the phenomenon. And I don’t think that describes Allen.
I don’t have a lot of history with older sitcoms so I can’t really speak to that. Good to know, though.
I’m not missing it, I just don’t agree 😂. I don’t think the show would be perceived that way but we clearly have different opinions about that. No biggie.
I don’t need a reboot, but this made me realize that Home Improvement would be a good show to watch with my kids. It’s funny and depicts a marriage where both people seem to love each other (Allen and Richardson had great chemistry), the kids have relatable problems, and no one is actually awful.
But that’s not what the show was. Allen’s character wasn’t toxic; he wasn’t misogynistic. He was learning to understand his wife and kids better - to be a better husband and father. But he was still masculine and still loved “more power” and all that. Those things weren’t wrong or a problem. He just needed to learn…
Maybe Paul Dano changed his name to Emma Roberts?
That sucks.
I think you have me confused with someone else. I’m not intelligent or sane, but the other stuff is completely inaccurate.
I watched the trailer yesterday and didn’t notice. If I hadn’t read this article I wouldn’t have known. It’s not like either of those characters had many lines anyway.
How are you in the greys? Have you always been there?
😂😂
Yesterday I thought to myself, I wonder if I’ll remember Parris’s name after reading it multiple times in the article and comments. Last night I tried to remember it and sure enough, I had absolutely no idea what it was. All this to say, I think you’re right.
