Whoa, Todd Field finally has a new movie! That’s very exciting.

It’s not the norm, though.

The Miata still has a manual.

She’s SOME PUGH

In her defense, Pollack was very difficult to get ahold of.

“So, like with most things, you can thank Anthony Kiedis for that.”

This is like when my kid texts on my phone by just picking whatever word is suggested next.

Gravity, Avatar, Life of Pi, some of the Disney re-releases were all very good 3D experiences for me. Of course those were also good movies. A lot of stuff released in 3D isn’t something I want to watch.

Hey, me too!

Also, the George Miller who directed Snowy River is George Miller (I). The Mad Max guy is George Miller (II). Lotta learning for me today.

I was looking for The Man From Snowy River. It turns out it was an Australian movie directed by a different George Miller (who is actually Scottish). Until just now I thought it was the Mad Max guy.

Indeed. Barsanti seems to be making many (worst-case) assumptions in his article. It doesn’t even say CK will be involved in the documentary. The only participants mentioned are reporters from the NY Times that broke the story.

Either these people have different student loans than I do or they’re not paying the required amount every month.

I would like Disney to add a shuffle option for Bluey. There are about 125 episodes of the show, the order is largely immaterial, and it is kind of annoying having to navigate through all of them. All of these examples are outliers. More than half of borrowers owe $20,000 or less and about one-third have $10,000 or less.

I think it works for Jimmy’s character, but Jimmy had been gone for a very long time. When you consider the time between when Kim left and now, that’s a lot of Saul grifting that is undone very quickly. That’s part of why it didn’t work for me.

To be fair, Nathan did visit Remy (more than once, I think) to reinforce the reality that he is Nathan and not daddy.

The Smashing Pumpkins

I think the sympathy comes from his position. He has terminal cancer, works two unfulfilling jobs, has a more successful brother-in-law that clowns on him, and generally seems to be kind of beaten down by the world. It’s evident that he’s not living the life he wanted and his acting out is a way to take back control.
