Indeed. A “free” Chappelle set is kind of incredible. I got George Lopez once - not quite Chappelle-level.

I actually saw Brian Regan once and George Lopez opened for him. Definitely not the same style and I think it was off-putting to some folks. But I don’t think anyone booed or anything. Of course I also forgot about it until seeing this article. I dunno.
I’m definitely with you on the commercials. Thankfully my local chain doesn’t really do that - just previews. I used to have to go to Regal all the time and it was so annoying. And the commercials were just loud. You could hardly have a conversation with them going on.
You must have way worse theaters or a way nicer house than I do. haha
I got a marker streak on one of my dress shirts and wasn’t able to get out the stain. A tie hides the stain quite well.
Indeed. If your shirt fits properly I can’t see how this is an issue.
I got six!
In a movie/show about a couple losing their adult son, I’d vote for Tom Wilkinson to be Spacek’s husband.
I haven’t stopped watching, but I’m really disappointed in this season so far. I feel like the show added depth to Howard over the seasons and didn’t make him a cartoon villain. But Jimmy and Kim are treating him as such. And I don’t think the writers have done a good job of explaining why, particularly for Kim.
Sohn directed The Good Dinosaur. It was awwwwwwful. Denise Realm does not appear to exist at Pixar. Denise Ream, however, was a producer on the aforementioned disaster and Cars 2. Yeah, I’m not seeing much to get excited about either.
Fallout made for a pretty exciting helicopter chase, including Tom Cruise actually flying one of the helicopters. This is a different director, but it’s still Cruise so I won’t be surprised if they do something really cool here.
The destroy-Howard storyline is starting to remind me of the serial killer plot from The Wire. To me it’s not interesting, is kind of wasting its characters (notably, Kim), and is dragging down what is otherwise a great show. Saul is nearing its end and I can’t fathom why they thought this was a good way to spend half…
Whatever this movie is, I’m confident that it can’t be any worse than Devs.
I never thought about that. That’s a really good point. Never had a car with that screen orientation, though.
Mur-der board! Mur-der board!
Yup. The CGI in the MCU is generally awful, particularly considering the budgets and how much money they make.
The US didn’t get Texas from Mexico. It got Texas from Texas (the Republic of). And giving Texas back to Texas would just be giving many Texans what they want.
Yup. Malum prohibitum. There have been regulations on behaviors (some related to bodily autonomy) since the founding of the country.
RBG too. Well, more poor people in her case.
It’s #1 for me.
