I want to call out the text exchange Randall referenced. This was the first I’d seen it and, just, wow...

Agreed.

I guess almost only a little time has passed since the end Season 2? I was a little disappointed that they didn’t use the extended break to do something more with Earn’s character. He’s still the same occasionally competent, but mostly not really manager he was before.

Louie is a good example of that. See also: The Wire Season 5. I’d also add a lot of Mad Men, but I know most wouldn’t agree with me on that.

Oh good grief to both of those people.

Yeah. This joke was more at his expense. Rock’s was at his wife’s expense.

“No, Lou Gossett Jr.! You got diabetes!”

Jeff Bridges didn’t win an Oscar for True Grit. He won it for Crazy Heart.

He actually didn’t even make it to Mighty Ducks 2!

The flag thing is insane. And she actually signed it?! That’s some off-the charts ego.

Dang, Jesse. You too? I’ve always appreciated your reviews and comments. All the best to you and your family.

Most of these are completely forgettable and/or bad. I truthfully didn’t remember many of them despite seeing most of these movies multiple times.

I’d say Dowd was too kind to this one. I think one scene in particular sums up how poorly it presents Diana. Spall’s character is made out as some kind of royals spy who’s out to get her. But when they finally have a conversation, he talks of the duty he feels toward the crown and of his soldier friend who died. Her
