He’s the bee’s knees!

Interesting. It just seemed out of place with her appearance. I dunno. I just checked a couple of her songs and, yeah, they weren’t anything like her speaking voice. Thanks for info.

I’ve enjoyed her in this show, but her voice confuses me. It’s very flat, but also like she’s talking through her nose. I’m not familiar with her work so I don’t know if she always sounds like this or if it’s a choice. I assumed it was purposeful, but I don’t really get the purpose. I guess I should just watch somethin

I’ve enjoyed it overall, but think it could stand to lose a few musical montages. Cena is good and I’ve enjoyed his dynamic with Harcourt. I don’t really understand the Vigilante character. They seem to be good friends, but Cena doesn’t actually know who he is until the mask comes off?

Indeed. Dollhouse was the only show of his I made it through. And that was mostly because the concept was interesting and I heard it got bonkers at the end.

I think there’s really only been one dud in the series (Scream 3) so that would speak well for this one’s chances. My main concern was no Craven and Williamson only being a producer. So I’m glad to see positive reviews too.

Indeed. It has nothing to do with a staid privileged pasture. She’s exactly right.

I’m sad to see DIY go. Back when I still had cable I enjoyed the heck out of Renovation Realities. They’d film amateurs trying to perform their own renovations and then present their misadventures with intertitles about how things would’ve gone better if they’d gone to DIY Network for advice. It was much more fun than

As cops and firefighters I thought it was weird that they decided to change into their costumes to direct fleeing guests instead of their uniforms. Who would listen to someone dressed up as a viking?

The song was bad enough (intentionally, I’m sure) in the first episode. Showing us the entire thing added nothing. If they were going to return to the play, then they should’ve done a different scene or something.

Ah, that explains it. We were wondering why here hair was down and that would definitely fit with what you’re suggesting. Was a bunch of stuff reportedly cut from the show? Why?

That would’ve been interesting. I wish they’ve would’ve actually done that in the show, though.

I agree. And even if Kingpin was the big reveal, he hadn’t shown up anywhere in the show or any of the movies so it’s still a problem of trying to make too many MCU connections. I’ve never seen a minute of Daredevil and couldn’t have told you anyone who was in it (Ben Affleck?). So for me it was, “Oh that’s Vincent

I agree that there were a number of inconsistencies. The tracksuit mafia might not fit with the boss (we only got a brief bit of the character here). But they were a highlight for me and definitely fit the tone of the rest of the show. If anything, the boss didn’t fit that tone. I enjoyed the show overall, but it came

I don’t think it’s the number of episodes, but how they’re used. Once you drop the super-long credits, most of the episodes didn’t even reach network drama length. I enjoyed the show, but it wasted a lot of time it could have used to build characters (e.g., Eleanor, Kingpin, Maya).

I’ve never seen Daredevil so I’m not familiar with the character. I figured he must have had an actual superpower given that the “too dangerous” arrow blew up right underneath him and he wasn’t fazed, but I guess not? It was weird. I don’t understand why they didn’t bring him in at the beginning instead of the

Eleanor hiring Yelena makes no sense as written. It was a rushed reveal anyway and for no reason. Given that these are mostly 30-35 minute episodes they really could’ve devoted some additional time to fleshing out Eleanor’s character.

I don’t see anything wrong with her Christmas selections. Over the last two Christmases I’m pretty sure I’ve watched all of those. I watched Elf and Die Hard in the same night this year. They’re both great!

I agree. I’ve enjoyed these episodes, but holy crap are they short. Once you exclude the opening flashbacks/super-long Marvel logo and credits, we’re barely past half an hour. It’s not quite Mandalorian-level short, but it’s getting close.

I agree. I was disappointed that it turned into bad CGI action, though that is typical for the MCU. But overall, I thought it was a real standout piece of action.
