YES and YES. I’d go as far as saying I’d like to see the USER (auto or gun) take responsibility of their own actions. Gotta stop the blame fest around here.
For once I’m not that skeptical of the story…at least the part where the passenger exited the car with a handgun and pointed it at the driver of the Charger. That seems upsettingly believable.
You must not be familiar with how Detroit works, lol. People mind there own business for the most part, but if you mess with any part of their money...uh...there are consequences for that.
This is definitely true. Something to note as well: 1 cubic yard = 27 cubic feet. A lot of people don’t realize this.
The TC doesn’t sell well outside of fleets because a lot of people still have issues with the idea of driving a van outside of work or parenting duties and would rather driving a truck.
Camaro’s biggest issue is the roofline is brutal - I like the Camaro but I wouldn’t never buy one due to the interior packaging - if I’m buying a car for track days / autocrossing - I need to be able to see. Same with the ATS/CT4 + the back seats are way too small.
I just read about that yesterday and I’m honestly wondering how many people besides me know what a COPO Camaro is and are under 40 years old.
I’ll second that and add the Chevy Trax. Had one as a loaner and it felt like a form of punishment. Even the Chevy Trailblazer I had on the next visit felt a vacation in comparison. The Trax I had was the top-of-the-line FWD trim and had an MSRP of $24,400. I can’t for the life of me figure out who believes that is…
Chrysler 300.
Unfortunately, the 2nd stupidest car, the Nissan Maxima is still being sold at sub-prime rates to drivers that go 137 mph while swerving between lanes during rush hour.
I don’t think the Avalon is better. It’s different. The Lexus does offer some luxo features that the Avalon doesn’t.
On the yacht themed thread you one upped my yacht pic with a pic of a much cooler yacht which is, like, the most....yachty thing you could have done, I think.
Hi, Folks! Mod Motor Guy, the shop owner checking in again!
Dealership is in the wrong. Allow me to explain my shop’s insurance policy, and you will soon see....
1. General liability - this is EXACTLY as it sounds. If I am out driving your car for whatever reason, be it a test drive, a delivery, or anything general…
A run into similar arguments here (alberta, and our oil industry of which i am apart)
While walking through a parking lot recently, my wife saw a TJ parked next to a JK (two door). She asked, “why’s the newer one twice the size of the older one?”
“... Not sure I can explain it completely, but suffice it to say Jeep had regulatory incentive to make it bigger”
“That’s dumb”
“yea”
All these ridiculous formulas and regulations lead to perverse incentives like this, because no matter what side of the ocean you’re on, politicians are afraid of the words “carbon tax” which would accomplish the same thing both more efficiently and with more choice for consumers.
And at the end of the day you’d have a 300 SL with 228 hp. These kind of sucked new.
