To be fair, that was during the COVID lock-down when their sales really started to spike. Fun thing is that was JUST when they were starting to fulfill backlogs of body panels and parts.

Everyone’s insurance will go up regardless. They are in it for profit, not sustainability.

Fun thing. The time of year the steel gets produced plays a big part in cold stamping’s end temprature. You can never fully control temprature and humidity from smelting to billets to rolling, to die cutting, to rolling/stamping.

The fun part is Tesla will only sell parts Tesla service and repair centers. They operate at some silly high labor rate. Also for body work, Tesla service tends to push hard for insurance estimators to replace parts for ANY damage instead of really simple repairs. Tesla service wanted to replace a hail damaged fender

Most “fun” for me was going to college one rainy morning.
Following along slow moving traffic, well under the speed limit, in a 07 mustang (incident was late 2010). A busted up “free candy” van in front of me has no brake lights, busted windors covered with wood, and a window AC unit hanging out the back. I’m hanging

Fin part is the 12V engine seperates into a 4v each unit so it’s quite economical. Now to correct the weird complaints about noise and rough ride it gives.

The police cars were down the street with lights off. The group ran up as the truck owner emerged and yelled “get in the ground” and opened fire not even a minute later. People in black outfits in a dark light yard with no street lights outside the flashing tow drivers lights. Yep totally not confusing.

Cool. Hope the family can prove that payments were up to date and sues the FUCK out of the loan company claiming that as the lead instigation party in the matter.

What you can’t see is that these are all connected bumper to bumper so they act as one weird bendy bus. The central engine location means they can articulate the vehicle more.

no no. its not a v12 its a 12v. They use baffles they call “valves” to keep the diesel fumes from leaking out the intake.

Obviously a Fiero with the rare heavyweight aero dealer installed option.
The added weight means more grip.  The aero pack helps make the weight look a bit better.  The added vents are there to help keep the driver and transmission cool.

Fortunately the service side of a dealership only shares a location with the sales side. And yes. I had a dealership calling me every other day for a month straight. I said to them. If you can’t match the advertised price on the sales line, then I am not buying. It was a Dodge Dart (thankfully I had one as a rental

And still make their profits off re-sale thanks to the high used market.

Some models around 20K  Other models around 60K.

Resisting change to save money on development. Why bother updating even the background hardware on a product when it sells strong based off market truths from the 80's? They just sat too long on their own accolades of the past.

Have a Metropolitian we are putting together here

Sorry for the long read, but it is a fun thing to deal with. It’s mind blowing how hard dealer$hits will fight to deny warranty claims to bump up labor rates. Not sure what every dealer uses, but warranty work is something pathetic like $25-30 an hour while a walk in customer gets hosed to the tune of $60-100 an hour.

It’s not an issue of things like that hard line innovation. Hell they have the features on other models and have the engineering on those sorted. It’s something like say apple car play. It look them forever to get. Now the updated infotainment system is locked behind a top model option. It is the same price to

I had a truck ordered with very specific features and option packs to dance around getting a $6000 trim level upcharge. I put down a deposit and signed off on the paperwork pending the arrival in good condition from the factory. The toyota shit put a spray in bed liner with over-spray all around, sprayed over bolt and

Well  dealer mandated means it costs the dealer about $80 in materials and nothing in labor to charge $575 for it.
