The 'existing' gray one is also not shiny chromed, just matte gray.

"Reverse Graphics Whore" I love that. I am very much in that camp as well. Most of my all-time favorite games are sprite based.

Totally agree. The first episodes were great, but this looks absolutely awesome.

Oh yeah, i wouldn't think Platinum would cancel anything. I'm just concerned about the games making it here, since they are fantastic. Hopefully, should Sega decide they aren't worth the cost, Konami will pick up the slack if Metal Gear Rising is a hit.

What does this mean for Anarchy Reigns? Its not on the above list, and I'm hoping Sega doesn't screw the west out of Platinum's games, as they are without a doubt fantastic.

Vigil Studios is Darksiders. THQ was the only Publisher to roll the dice on them, it paid off, they cut people because of the uDraw fiasco. So yeah. One can only hope Darksiders 2 sells as big as it deserves to so the franchise is secure, even if THQ isn't.

Why the hell did THQ fire lay-off people from Vigil? Vigil has the only game THQ really has planned for the year that has a snowballs' chance in hell of making them some decent profit, and they get rid of people. I'm now of the opinion that THQ maybe should get shuttered if it means Vigil can continue doing their

I will occasionally buy a used game, usually one that I had interest in, but not enough to buy new when its cheap. Like I just bought Force Unleashed 2 for fifteen bucks. But I rarely trade in games anymore.

One: The person making the comments is female. Two: She was talking about the console versions of the game being traded in, not the PC versions. Like it or not, both markets must be catered to, and the average gamer on the console has a much shorter attention span for game life.

@Vintage: (for some reason it wouldn't let me directly reply...) How about go for both? The coding for the apps aren't that drastically different, otherwise we wouldn't have some iPhone apps ported over. I don't mind waiting a little time after the Apple Market, but I get annoyed when companies flat out refuse to

I know this is probably pointless, but I'm still rather annoyed that the Android OS gets so overlooked for decent mobile games. I get that the iPhone is the 800 pound gorilla of the mobile market, but last I checked, Android wasn't far behind.

Ah, weekends. Yes. I forget about those alot. I don't work, but I tend to get pulled away regardless.

It is an Arcade title. Also, you could try not playing it all in one sitting.

... I have to admit. I would buy that.... But then, I loved Alan Wake.

Gamestop and a few other places have it listed as the 19th of June. So who knows.

Wait.. What?! When did Lollipop Chainsaw get a release date?

i think they look great, honestly. Maybe they aren't technically the greatest, but artistically they are impressive. And frankly, who cares about minor quibbles if the gameplay is awesome, which it seems like it will be from what I've seen of Demon's Souls.

@De Gnomer: I completely agree with you. And honestly if the piece posted wasn't from a mother discussing the absurdity of it all, my comment would have been different. I thought they were funny, I watch them, I move on. The only reason I gave them any more thought is because I know how my own mother would react,

While I think this marketing campaign is funny, I have to admit when I first saw it I couldn't help but think, "Have these people never seen a horror movie before?" I mean, yeah, Dead Space 2 has some intense stuff, but nothing that wouldn't fly in an R-Rated horror flick. Which makes me wonder if they would say the

@Jezuz: I don't know if that was real, or not, but I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. So, either way, hats off to you for being brave/creative enough to share this.
