The books consistently pulls and then doesn’t pull rugs, it creates an unease and lack of predictability. Challenging the viewers comfort level in which we’ve been programmed with by inserting “moral” choices created that sense of unpredictability in which this series is known for. Game of Thrones has no apologies,

Have you read them all?

How do you think they felt about Marital Rape in 8th century Europe within arranged marriages? The point is that in their world, Marital Rape is probably considered a dereliction of her duties and not baring a son would be considered a failure. (Stannis and his wife)

So...you get the show?

But from all the hubbub of production and Lena Headey having a walk, I get the sense that the roads may be different but the destination is the same.

Has anyone changed to become the character we want them to be rather than who they are/were?

So true, Christ, one of the reasons people like the show is that it doesn’t fall into the typical PREDICTABLE morality story arcs we’re used to.

Anyone else have flashbacks to Nic Cage in 8mm?

Sansa could have gone Margery Tyrell...but that just aint her.

Here’s my beef with the Theon “turn”...hasn’t it basically been Martin’s concept that people don’t “turn”. They are who they are, sure, some character traits that were there come to light that maybe we didn’t know, but Martin loves characters living and croaking by their flaws rather than change or evolve.

It consummated his marriage in securing the North and forever joining the Ramsay and Stark bloodlines....

Credit card, 10 years ago,my fault, I settled and learned. :-)

Ah, yeah, happened to me, I thought you wrote a question and not the official term. Thanks,

Also, it should be noted that should one decide to settle, there could be IRS tax ramifications.

Jesus fuck, this is so insulting to intelligence they should tack more fines and punishment.

Yeah, St.Louis seems to be over-thinking everything and not playing a quick game. Zucc would bring a quick and dynamic aspect to the game. I heard he was skating, could be back next week.

You can also get away with more holding physicality post-season, so scrappier, dirty-goal guys tend to be successful. Not “blaming” the refs for a “let’em play attitude” as it usually works both ways, but big guys like Nash aren’t gonna get the calls they’d get during the season.

Kane seems to find a fucking way to be clutch.....Nash has found a way to be a goddamned mystery.

Yeah, some of the “Cheats” include stuff like individual players getting fined for a dirty hit here and there, or a dude dropping and faking cramps/injury between plays. Not exactly a conspiracy there.
