hes worse than that, hes one of those lunatic “libertarians” who are really just republicans who dont go to church. he sells respectability politics to the ignorant who think that they can overcome massive structural problems in the system just by following a bunch of unhelpful gimmick phrases( hes kind of Dave

Oh man the millions of kids still stuck in the foster care system will be so relieved! Where should we drop them off, Jim?

Cool. So just challenge every single republican voter in the state and let them have at it.

Well THAT didn’t take long...

Acid was the first drug I was really high on, and I also read this in middle school. Never made the connection till now!

At the age of 60 this is the first time I’ve heard this. Read it as a tween and really thought it was true all these years. Shame on all involved.

Well, that was glorious and totally destroyed me. Thank you.

He’s going to be the first person to live forever.

While it is unfortunate that he will be remembered for a role that he seemed to askew in real life, cot damn did he do an amazing job as Paulie.

Protect Pesci at all costs

But not Keith Richards. He’s going to outlive us all.

Ray Liotta, Jimmy Caan, now Paul Sorvino. Guys like De Niro, Pacino, and Pesci should be getting nervous.

From the list of All Time Great Double Features: “Head” and “Shaft”

I think it’s from the same scene, where Paulie’s talking to the lounge owner about Tommy, and says “What do you want me to do, whack him?” and the Bamboo lounge guys says “Wouldn’t be a bad idea...” and Paulie gives him the death-iest of death glares. I’ve tried to replicate that “you just crossed the line fucko”

RIP

Now playing

This one hurts. There’s a moment early in the film where Paulie is talking to the Bamboo Lounge owner and he looks over at Henry Hill while shrugging his shoulders in a real exaggerated way to say look at this guy. My entire life I have done this move when I’m confused and I’ve called it The Paulie. Well I’ll shrug in

Or Titanic, which is probably what most people would recognize him from? Love his exchange with Zane.

“The Respect Yourself singer is survived by his wife and five children...”

*zap* “It’s a good question.”

Corman the Barbarian is eternal, like his films dammit!
