The cops do not want to put themselves in harms way and are not paid to protect you or your children.  In any rational society that would be their job, but here we are.

Remember that they’ll only do their jobs as long as it doesn’t get them dirty or wet, or doesn’t require physical exertion, or if there is no risk of danger, or if you never call them out on their inadequacies and abuses.
