You’re missing the most competitive year in recent history of F1. Last race had an excellent 4 car battle for almost 10 laps straight.

This is already done on a somewhat smaller scale - it’s called IndyCar.

Did you skip the 2012 season?

This season was the first time in decades that by Monaco you had three drivers from three different teams who had wins.

I was going to make this point myself, but allow me to reinforce it - there’s always been a huge gap from the top to the bottom, but the current rules effectively stifle the kind of innovation that allowed smaller teams to punch above their weight.

Has gotten? More like has always been. 2014-2016 Mercedes completly owned every race. Nobody else had a chance unless Mercedes messed up something. 2017 was the first time I actually thought there might actually be competition in the turbo 6 era, this year is even better. Before that Red Bull had owned it for

WAY back when, I went to a F1 race when Mansel and Prost were driving Williams and Senna was driving a Maclaren. The lap times of these cars in the early 90s was dramatically faster than anything else on the circuit. I swear, these three cars were fighting traffic on the 4th lap. This Two-tiered thing of F1 has been

Have you been watching F1 for a while? This is the way its been... For example, in 1991 only two teams won races at least we have had 3 this year.

Formula One has always been a story of the haves and have-nots but in the past a have-not with a revolutionary idea could jump to the top. Unfortunately, of late, the rules have eliminated creativity and rewarded execution. A team with more money is going to execute the formula better. (Unless they’re McLaren)

For some reason I am super happy to see this news...perhaps it’s because they are a friendly democratic nation not trying to undermine our western ways of life.

They have no shortage of science/technical background people, what they do lack is sufficient government funding to drive a space program.... till now.

As an Indian, I found this hilarious lol

Just leaving this here.

Somebody needs to hold the torch of "the worst take comment" for every article and they're the person for the job!

yeah it turns out Good Job Good Effort is a bad actor

Is this guy some sort of libertarian or something?

Because the Chinese government’s autocratic, authoritarian behavior means they can’t rely too much on Chinese revenue. China might decide to ban some Disney movie for some (to us) idiotic reason, so they need to also have movies that primarily appeal to Western audiences in their portfolio, too.

At 5.8 seconds to 60 the current 155HP Miata has basically the same 0-60 as the S2000 and now they’re adding 30 HP.

Miata thinks S2K is 450 lbs. overweight.

I try real hard not to judge other people’s taste in cars and try to be part of an inclusive motorhead community but the whole stance thing...
