Exactly! Mclaren will have no where to hide next year behind the engine. For all the talk of their chassis being great it’s going to be rather silly if they cant match Redbull, let alone beat them.

Just a reminder that their replacement next year to that shitbox also blew up at the back of Riccardo’s Redbull. Given Alonso’s general recent luck, don’t be surprised if he has more retirements next year as well.
Spending the weekend at spa!
I work for a supplier to the big 3 and I think people underestimate or have no idea what is going in the test tracks. While Google has been driving the autonomous research with their tests out in the public, the big 3 have also been secretly running a fleet of cars and hiring heavily from silicon valley.
You sir have won the COTD
So if Honda makes through Monaco GP without too many problems while also scoring a point, and yet Alonso’s engine blows up again in Indy 500, can we declare that Alonso is the bad luck for Honda and they should run the hell away from him?
This! On a split mu i.e one side on ice and another on asphalt, ABS is the only way you don’t crash. This is the first thing thing I was shown as a young intern at a company making ABS systems. Spinning out without abs on split mu panic braking is a given, even for advanced drivers.
I hope you are being sarcastic there with the “rich China” statement. Also, the per capita waste and pollutant here in the USA is still greater than China and most other countries in the world. We just need to stop buying useless shit from Amazon and Walmart that we throw out
I am more of a purist and really don’t prefer the new one but I have to give credit were it is due. This car in initial testing as been as fast around some of the race tracks as the Viper ACR. That is R8 and turbo S beating performance.
Good god, Leo! It’s good to see you around here. Where can we listen or read your content?
Well actually, drive started from FLD. They still maintained a sister channel relationship
Yup that would be correct. They started with FLD news and then expanted to some of the content we came to love as Drive; Especially the ‘talk shows’ that spenelli hosted in drive originated at FLD. Loved the show by Leo Parente as well. Does anyone know what happened to him?
I am not sure how replacing a boring track with a boring dime a dozen oval is a great idea ? Belle Isle at least has some uniqueness about it
Great idea ! It’s not like they don’t sell the regular car right ? There is definitely a market for those wanting a targa ! God it’s beautiful
That’s a good point ! While the targa by itself might not withstand roll overs, the A pillar is much stronger in new convertibles because of the federal roll over tests. One of the resosns why some clubs let you drive s2000 on track without roll bar !
Fair point ! But most modern cars have to pass roll over tests without a aftermarket roll bar and which is why a few clubs allow cars like s2000 without one. Additionally this car should pass the broomstick test as well so you are technically legal for most clubs.
To be fair, you don’t need a roll bar for a targa
Thats like saying the prius, i8 and 918 are all going to be compared against one another because they are hybrids ?
NSX owner, can confirm it exists !
I don’t think acura ever made a point about this being a competition to the i8 ? All the articles and honda themselves seem to think the r8/458/911 turbo S are the competition ?
Fair point about the interior looking blandish. I own an NSX and a BMW i6 3er so I would definitely love to see a smooth 6 powering a…
