Watching this, I was waiting for the end, when I was sure the women would say something like, “It’s okay, I’ve already seen these.” But then as I realized that reassurance wasn’t going to come, I thought, “Damn right. This isn’t about reassuring these men they are good; it’s about getting them to confront the problem,

I find that, generally, men have NO idea. When I’ve told my male colleagues about the harassment I’ve gotten just being a woman on the internet with an opinion (and I am a writer so i HAVE to be on twitter, you can’t just opt out), they have been absolutely horrified.

Most men have blinders and/or deep seated denial about harassment, especially if they do not engage in direct violent harassment. Being forced to say those timestamped words while looking a woman in the eye might be the only way they have a shot at overcoming it. I just hope all of those men realize what they are

It’s like things like this makes everyone a victim to a varying degree: the most direct victims are the women who have to live with this, with the fear of knowing that someone somewhere out there thinks this of them with no indication that it’s JUST a thought and not a plan of action. Their families have to carry that

No. We don’t abuse the system because we disagree with someone. Claiming false copyright infringements, flagging for spam, etc. would make us look petty and vengeful. We can disagree with his insults without resorting to unethical actions. Dislike all his videos if you like, but don’t claim he did something he didn’t

So people with disabilities shouldn’t be mocked, but people with a recessive hairline and premature balding (like me) CAN be insulted and mocked? Fuck that. Everyone should be fair game in the insult world.

right.... because my disdain for this person equates the same as him insulting multiple people over disabilities.

Fuck this kid and his enabling parents.
