Yes!  I also saw that with my dad, and we've quoted Coleman ever since.  His other best line:  After bullying Chevy Chase to give up the better guest room, Dabney says, "I don't want you to do it because you're weak.  I want you to do it because you know I'm right."

To me, calling the list "Our Favorite Films" implies that it's driven more by personal taste than critical evaluation.  That distinction can get blurry, and criticism is inherently subjective, but I still think "Favorite" is the wrong word and would devalue the purpose of the list.

Yeah, I haven't seen that movie in 20 years, but I still remember this scene near the end where his legs give out and he collapses in a parking lot, and then tries to play it off like he just kind of felt like sitting down.  Totally believable and perfectly played moment.

That was hard to watch.  But if I remember right, Horshack kept getting up and coming back for more.  It was such a mismatch that I give him a lot of credit for taking that beating instead of staying down.  And anyone who at least tries to kick Screech's ass deserves respect.  What a colossal douche that guy was for

Agree completely.  Some nice points made in the article, but the "Mad Men as horror movie" analogy is just so tortured.  Lane's death was "shocking," as opposed to clearly telegraphed and virtually inevitable from the "sit down, close the door" scene onward?  The empty elevator shaft is SCDP telling Don he "can't get

Evel:  Granted, but I guess my point is that if Billy had turned out to be an ace general, Jimmy might have felt the need to cut Billy's face and stash him away in some windowless room in the White House so that the rest of us wouldn't find out.  All while pretending to be disappointed that his poor fuckup of a
