Crispy13 is correct, it is different. I have a WiiU, 3DSXL and phone account for Miitomo, Frie Emblem ect. THis is still not a user ID> I just logged into my Nintendo account, and sure enough, the user ID is blank. Maybe the user IDs are the new way to be friends similar to a PSN ID?
