You are not a nitpicky asshole, because I stopped reading the review and came down here immediately to see if anyone else remembers it as I do. It was a huge character moment about Ama. I can’t believe the review blew it, and so early.

Nah this is delightful. When they face a Russian squad that they will IN NO WAY be permitted to beat, England will achieve Peak England and we can all go home happy. Especially if the Refs arrange for it to happen in PKs somehow.

England played good! Pickford was tremendous.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. They definitely are not.  They are morally ambiguous at best.

I agree that Emily Blunt is great in the first film and it stands on its own merit. However, Benicio Del Toro is also great and I applaud any reasoning for making more movies with him. I think making a sequel without Blunt's character is better than making her character betray what she accomplished in the first film.
