I could just point to pretty much every single time they've quoted or talked to Michael Pachter, but directly "We hate Nintendo"? No, they've not done that. But even Totillo has discussed several times about how, against the trend, he enjoys his Wii U. It's been indirectly addressed before.

Ya know... even if that is the case (it isn't), I don't care. I feel like Nintendo actually cares about us. I've met Aonuma and Kondo in person, and they are the most humble people ever. As if they were as excited to talk to me as I was to them. Except I'm nobody!

It changes based on who's writing the article— for example, most Nintendo-centric posts Luke makes are generally negative and dismissive(with the exception of Zelda titles). Been like this for years.

Umm, Kotaku generally dislikes Nintendo, except during nostalgic moments or when something is very, VERY undeniably successful(see: They waited to stop reporting that the 3DS was dead when it was outselling every other console).

This is a Public Service Announcement: If you're on vacation and must fly, and happen upon a thrift store or another place that sells canes and you buy one, give that sucker a twist. Sword canes are much less rare than people think, and can be dropped off at a thrift store in a bulk sale without the seller or buyer

I'm not surprised. Life is a foregone conclusion. It is only the desire that our existence in someway be special that is cause for argument on the subject. This is, in essence, very similar to every man over <insert threat> story line we've ever created. The need to be unique, to feel special and entitled, has

So the DLC content is already on the disk then?

This video makes is seem like stuff was arbitrarily withheld to make another $20 a pop. I can't imagine it taking 3 additional months to populate the level with the same enemy models (what I'm anticipating, given what constituted 'new' enemies in the Vault of Glass) and

Now playing

That's too funny, because I remember seeing this area from...Bungie's Official BETA Trailer:

Okay, I admit, I haven't played Destiny yet, and really don't plan to until it gets LOADS more content...

last legs? software attatchment rates are extremely high. I think you mean "hardware." Even then you're wrong...3ds is a huge success.

At least people enjoy the game!!

Unfortunately I find my self agreeing with you. This game has become a grind fest, playability has been diminished after reaching the light levels as it all bubbles down to repeating the same task over and over and over and over and over and over and ov- zzzzzzzz

I've felt for awhile now the only reason this game is getting so much coverage is the record setting amount of money that was spent on it. I've seen little love for the game out in the real world.

Did I offend you by making fun of the game you saved up all your allowance to get? Maybe next time you will choose better! Children really do say the darndest things.

I have already moved on; Destiny was a massive disappointment and a similar sized time sink.

whether its saturated destiny news or not....was this really article worthy at all? Even if you were playing another game where you didnt have the means to inform someone about something....like really....THIS IS NEWS?

I'm okay with the Wii U not being terribly powerful. At the end of the day I enjoy playing my games. As long as the framerate stays at 30 or above and the gameplay is fun I'm okay with that. The kids who complain about graphics are sadly missing out in the gaming world - Destiny is fun and beautiful, but there were

Interestingly, Diablo 3's story was just about as lazy and poorly written ("OH, DECARD!"); and, I completely gave up on that game after my first play through too, even after having waited 10 years and preording the Collector's Edition.

IT HAD NO HEART.

LIKE DESTINY.

Well I guess the Cryptarch "developing a personality" as either an incompetent idiot or a trickster jackass could be considered a positive addition... somehow.
