I've played Destiny for about an hour now. It really feels a lot like Borderlands to me, just with lotsa people I don't know. Go there, kill that/retrieve that. It's been underwhelming so far to say the least, but I won't judge yet. Is there more to come or is this pretty much the entire game? What's the competitive

Sadly, it's the only thing about the game (at least the Beta) that's any good at all. Which may be why it's distracting. It's the only element worth noticing. This really, really feels like an MMO to me. And I'm sure anyone who buys it will be paying for it like it's an MMO (plus the $60 launch price and mandatory PSN

No it doesnt. They have new leadership. Of course there are going to do changes. The head of MS is brand new. The head of Xbox is brand new. Of course they are going to make changes. All these things were done with the old guard.

Falcon is one of the first black superheroes to rise to prominence in comics. He had his own identity, his own history, and more importantly was his own hero. By making him the new Captain America they are negating that. They are overshadowing his accomplishments as a original black hero. Now in pop culture he just

Based on recent uploads from Sakurai's Miiverse account, Lucina truly is a Marth "clone" with the only difference beeing height and the way her sword works. Marth's power is concentrated in the tip of the sword, Lucina's attack strength is balanced throughout the weapon, making her a bit more easy to play. Sakurai

Its somewhat scary how fast the internet works. If we just put all this effort towards world hunger or the cure of cancer.....

The thing is that Microsoft social/party/chat system is still miles ahead of Sony PSN. I have heard a lot of people complaining about how bad the chat system was in the PS4 beta trial. However, I won't be getting this on either system. It just feels and looks like extended Halo.

One thing to look into is the user experience of both consoles also. The PS4's user experience is non-existent. The Xbox One's user experience is awesome.

ps4 is enticing for the reasons u mentioned but despite the disadvanage xb1 still has a better current and upcoming library of games.

The tech advantage appears to be dwindling now that Kinect is no longer mandatory. With Kinect out of the picture, Bungie has been able to get Xbox One's Destiny on equal footing with PS4's Destiny (1080p and 30 fps for both).

I'd say if you're a huge Halo fan and really want to stick with the series, Xbone. Titanfall may also be a factor if you care about that and don't have it on PC. If those aren't factors, then I'd say go for PS4 because Plus is awesome, and I prefer the exclusives (even having fun with Killzone Shadow Fall right now!).

... . . . you named your kid a dwelling occupant??

Replace the guys hitting the Vita with Sony , more focus on PS4, Little Vita-only games and over -priced memory cards and that would be the true reason why the vita is on the ground.

-_-

This gives me a great idea for a world wide initiative to build global relations. We all contribute towards a rocket and put Justin Bieber, lil' Wayne, One Direction, Miley Cyrus, and every other shitty music act in it and launch it directly into the Great Storm.

Hipster Goomba is not impressed.

Goomba has had enough of your shit

Thank you, Kotaku, for being one of the only video game websites out there who bothered to go to Microsoft for clarification, rather than posting inaccurate and incorrect heresay.

Sorry, I'm at work so I can't put on the sound: do they comment on whether or not Halo 3/Halo 4 players on Xbox One will use the same multiplayer servers as those on 360?

It depends though; if both versions (i.e. the Xbox One and PS4) are going to have the same framerates and resolutions, I'd rather purchase it for my Xbox One than my PS4. I prefer using the Xbox One controller over the DS4 for example, and I much prefer the online system on the Xbox One too.
