Maybe they cover this in the video, but in order to properly gauge this, you have to look at the ages of the people you’re questioning. I learned the Simpsons version growing up, but that was well before that episode aired.

“She decided to defend her statement and even had the nerve to Google that analogy to prove why it was okay.”
Imagine how sad one’s life must be to review-bomb some game on Metacritic, esp. over some perceived “SJW”-ness or something.
Bioshock Infinite was literally my other choice. I hate that game so much. Theres a voice recording where somebody calls daisy fitzroy a ‘catankerous negress’. i put down the game and never picked it up again
Detroit is an awesome game.
Surprised Mafia 3 wasn’t on the list, nothing more fun then killing the shit out of the klan(oh i’m sorry the Southern Union) and white moderates.
And Roger Ebert was shitty and disrespectful to the video game industry.
Gonna be some real interesting reviews for BOARD GAMES from one person;

I feel like this is gunna be part of a review rollercoaster. This review basically somes it up as “alright.”
Wouldn’t say that was rotten luck. It was hugely successful, and I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than Breath of the Wild.
Update: downloaded it from an apk mirror and it works on the 8. :)
Behold, the view from my window!
Why wouldn’t you include the app store links in the article?
The mask battle is lost. I was out yesterday for groceries and hardware store necessities, and the only people in masks were store personnel and a handful of customers (typically older or obvious health care workers).
By all accounts he is an awesome dude who had been successful, dealt with personal tragedy, and kept it together without going off the deep end. At this point he might as well just go for it. Make fun of of his “Whoa” persona all you want, the only difference between aloof and stoic is often age.
Cracks me up how brave Keanu is for diving headfirst back into a character that he’s basically been running from his whole career, insofar as early assessments of his talent went.
I know, right? Any time I see a single-letter substitution, I briefly forget how to read or think critically. A simple typo can send me tailspinning for days or even weeks. I’ve never adjusted to any sort of journalistic best practices in my lifetime, and I expect that when I’m very old my grandchildren will neglect…
I have an extreme soft-spot for art about artists finally getting to see just how appreciated they are (especially if they weren’t in their own time; see also “Vincent and the Doctor”), so I’m not gonna lie — Anton Ego trying Remy’s food and being instantly transported back to his provincial childhood comfort never…
It’s worth pointing out here that Meloni’s SVU character, Elliot Stabler, was generally the more hard-edged member of the team, prone to moments of unrestrained fury in the face of the horrible crimes that happened on that show, but at the end of the day he (usually) did the right thing and was always a hero.
Workin’ on it.
Good on you for posting this knowing well there will be lots of people screeching about “I come to Kotaku for games journalism, not social justice”. Everyone needs to pay attention, all ages, all races, all religions. Only when people are paying attention will they actually comprehend what is going on around them.
