WebOS never caught on in the two years and some change it was out, I see why they would ditch that. But I would probably own an HP laptop if I didn't own a Macbook Pro.

Apps are what make the OS, before hardware...WebOS didn't have any good apps, and it didn't have enough iterations of the hardware. It was the same shit again, and again. It wasn't even a hit in the first place, why not change it.
