Looks like I can add this to my collection of overly ambitious, self-defeatingly complicated series I loved. I'll set it right next to Carnivale.

If she loses the baby, will the officer be charged with murder?  Missouri has an 8 week cutoff for abortions, with the impending SCOTUS decision, the state would have an almost complete ban on abortion.  A live human, by Missouri standands, innocent of any crime, killed by police (possibly??)
