I honestly have no idea what he's trying to say. There's some quality to Henry Cavill that makes him comparable to Heath Ledger. That's all I'm getting.

Yes, in a perfect world, every role in every movie or series would be someone who has only ever played that role and is a brilliant actor. That's not how reality works, though, and I'm sure you will be able to suspend your disbelief the same as when you've seen every other movie or series in existence with actors who…
Don’t be disappointed that someone is cast against their type. Those often turn out to be the most brilliant casting decisions. And is nobody supposed to have any range?
He was talking about the integrity of the adaptation. You’re talking about the business angle. Two different things. Not everyone has an MBA and cares about marketing tatics and their impact on profitability.
They can actually start anywhere they want, and then go back to fill in the gaps later, for drama reasons. You’re basically arguing that Star Wars needed to start with Revenge of the Sith to explain Darth Vader. I think A New Hope was a fine introduction to Vader.
Looking forward to seeing speedruns.
You missed out on a lot of good PS2 games, then.
You’re talking about PS3 phasing out PS2 support, I think. I believe that happened before the PS3 slim—PS2 support was only in the original model and the MGS4 model, but there was an updated model between the original and slim that did not have support.
My PS2 crapped out in the laser/reader department multiple times, and I was able to fix it at least three times before it was shot for good. It had more to do with the alignment than anything the laser or reader was doing, which is probably why replacing the laser isn’t working for you. It’s the most common problem on…
This is what made it a must-have. Everybody needed to get a DVD player back then. And the PS2 played DVDs and PS2 and PS1 games, for the going price of a normal DVD player. It was a no-brainer and easily what helped propel it to the #1 spot of best-selling consoles of all time.
tl;dr version: you hope it has new game+.
By the way, she’s holding a Wonda Morning Shot in one of the pictures. Absolutely the best vending-machine coffee in Japan, and I tried them all.
It is minimal because the logo is minimal.
This game is bonkers. Utterly amazing. It could be exactly what this demo showed and nothing more, and it would be incredible. Unlike everyone else, I don't have any suggestions/demands.
He’s either an adult or a child with a severe hormonal imbalance. Jury’s still out. I mean, the trailer was clearly designed to make us wonder: is that a man or a small kid wearing a muscle suit and a fake beard made of felt? Hopefully they will provide an answer in the next trailer and not draw out this mystery till…
They’re really running out of ideas, huh? I’d love to see an original screenplay once in a while.
The Switch is real boring for Wii U owners. I played Mario Kart 8, Breath of the Wild, Tropical Freeze, and Captain Toad on the Wii U and don’t find the small added bonuses worth buying them again. I’m looking forward to some actual new content.

My campus had an incredibly robust internal P2P torrent network using DC++. (It helped that my university had over 30,000 students enrolled.) There were at least dozens of people who took great pride in sharing terabytes of data, which was no small feat in 2008–2009, including my roommate.
Animation that doesn’t look like every other anime? Where are the huge, shiny eyes and wacky hair colors?! Not watching it. And that is a totally valid reason to dismiss a mold-breaking audiovisual masterpiece.
I’m still completely in the dark about what’s going on. I don’t know who Grimes is or how any of these people know each other.
