I would’ve preferred faster load times to restored loading-screen games. I didn’t think there was really time to play the game on the PS3 version because things loaded a lot faster.

The first couple hours of the game are perfect. Then, in the broad sense, the story just kind of repeats on a larger scale and the pace ends up getting lost. It’s still just as good as any other RPG, but man, those first couple hours are great from a writing/plot standpoint.
3DS has sold nearly 70 million units, giving every new 3DS game a potential audience as big as or bigger than any other modern console.
Hopefully. Maybe the mobile version will get an update.
Why are lasers and AI a given but motorcycles aren’t? Why do you think an advanced civilization would have the know-how to make robots and electric axes but not a motorized form of transportation? I don’t think a motorcycle is internally inconsistent with the world.
The trailer literally showed it driving over mountains.
I truly believe you have one non-gamer friend.
I think you’re getting too caught up in the infinite platforming. I can’t think of any specific examples of that (was Balloon Fight/Kid’s “trip” mode infinite?), but there are plenty of one-trick games, or games that can go on forever, or both. Tetris? I can see how infinite platforming is different because it…
I think you’ve got a selective memory. There were tons of one-trick Game Boy games like this. The mechanics look detailed enough to pass for an average Game Boy game, imo.
There were some really amazing Game Boy games, but this isn’t any worse than your average Game Boy game.
Irrelevant. Words can have more than one meaning. I can assure you the genesis of “crispier” has nothing to do with evading refrigerator compartments.

I wonder if this person thinks that “crispy” means “crisp-like.”

Yeah, kneeling during a proposal is definitely feminism. Get a fucking grip, wastoid.
Maybe they should make some good linear games, then. It’s only fair if they compare a good linear game to a good open-world or MMO game; otherwise, they’re just cherry picking to support their awful business practices (which you struck upon in your third sentence).
The MRA has found its way here.
The weird thing is that you know he wouldn’t have said “the brunette” or “the blonde” if it looked like a different character. I guess he thinks it’s okay to objectify her because she gets objectified on the show, because ’60s-era misogyny is a great template to base your attitudes on.
I don’t think they modeled Joan after one thing. Redheads are not that rare, and hiring Christina Hendricks because of a striking similarity to a woman in one VW ad would be extremely silly.
That’s an alley? Looks like most of the smaller streets I saw in Kyoto, especially the no-sidewalks part.
If you want to talk ORIGINALLY, then you’d know that each episode was supposed to be thousands or hundreds of years apart. Xenogears was episode 5, and at the outset, they intended Xenosaga episode 5 to be a Xenogears remake/retelling.
Someone should alert him to the existence of microphones.
