It’s remake. They rebuilt enough assets from scratch and put it in a whole new engine. Remasters keep the same engine and might feature new textures and slight model adjustment. Keeping the level design the same is what makes it a remake and not a reboot.

2v2 is indeed easier to follow. It also depends more on individual skill—the whole dynamic of rotation and responsibility is altered compared to 3v3. I’ve wondered why there aren’t more pro 2v2 tournaments because it’s just as interesting, it’s just a little slower.
