When you say clipping, are you talking about what happens when you put on the Hylian Hood and it just flows freely through the other objects on Link’s back? Or like when you take out the Master Sword and it just goes straight through the sheath?

It was designed to run on 10-year-old hardware, which is why it can run on a tablet. And it looks like a 10-year-old game, too. What is marvelous about that?
I don’t see any bar raising going on with Breath of the Wild. I don’t like games that are too large for their own good, and maybe Breath of the Wild got the balance close to right with exploration vs. stuff to do, but balancing things that already exist isn’t raising the bar, to me. I would say it’s not even as good…
The framerate drops anytime you’re in a town and move the camera. I would say I’m playing at 20fps like 25% of the time. Very grating.
Doki Doki Panic is a great comparison. (Thank you, self. No problem, self.) If Breath of the Wild weren’t a Zelda game but it still came out on Wii U and Switch, nobody would even buy it OR a Switch, for that matter.
Playing on Wii U, I had the game lock up once during an intense fight in an area that was already suffering from a bit of slowdown. But it only locked up for about a second or two and then resumed.
Thanks for the tip about the legs!
Not sure if you’ve figured it out in the time since you asked these, but to answer your second question: the combat is quite good, and that’s coming from someone who really disliked the combat in 3D Zeldas until now.
He probably bought the Wii U because it was on sale or because he found one of those cheap bundles that gave you a lot of stuff for the price (e.g., the Mario Kart 8 bundle, which was an amazing value). That’s one reason you might buy a console before the system-selling game comes out.
I feel like a large part of the reason people think it’s one of the best games ever is just the prestige of Zelda games. This is a decent open-world game with a Zelda skin on it. If the characters were unknown and everything were just slightly different, but the plot and gameplay were the same, nobody would give a…
This game makes me so happy.
No, I have never purchased Monopoly (just played the one my parents had), but I am feeling inclined to expand my board game collection, which is very limited right now. Maybe Monopoly wouldn’t have been near the top of the list anyway, but now I’m definitely not getting it.
And his name wasn’t Patrick either—it was Maewyn Succat, but he didn’t care for that so he chose to be known as Patricius down the line. He actually had many monikers throughout his life: he was known by many as Magonus, by others as Succetus, and to some as Cothirthiacus.
I hate the “give both sides equal weight” thing when it comes to science and matters of fact. It should be “give both sides equal weight unless the outlier has a vested interest in seeding disagreement and confusion.” That would put an end to disputes on global warming, vaccines, GMOs, and other topics where the…
Yeah, Monopoly made a huge mistake in not limiting the number of pieces from each category. They should’ve had separate votes for one animal piece, one household item, and one vehicle. Five animals is ridiculous. I’m never going to buy Monopoly now.
Cool, I didn’t know you could disable the legs. I would’ve tried the two-handed spin attack as that’s what I usually do to dismantle the smaller guardians quickly (as long as I have an ancient axe or whatever).
I’m going to save my game near a guardian and just practice timing the parry until I can do this consistently. Seems like the strongest attack you can make on these things. Do they have other attacks, or do they just stick to the laser? I haven’t even taken on a guardian that can walk yet. Too scared/waiting to get…
Yeah, some of his other distractions were well played because they were at least real (regardless of how idiotic they were). Did he really run out of distractions this fast that he’s already just making shit up?
Nobody? I am. That’s the whole point of my comment. Keep up.
Did you just use “[sic]” in something you quoted from Wikipedia? Just fix it, you lazy piece of shit.
