In the linked article, there is an interview with Antoine Daingerfield. He said everyone was still paid for the entire work day, and the racist boss was fired. I assume most of them were allowed to return to the job site the next day. These were skilled machinists and welders. Every additional minute of downtime costs…

I have serious issues with a lot of unions, but fuck me if you’re a skilled trade and you’re somewhere without a union get the hell out of there. You are needed literally everywhere and you get PAID!
