Typically I avoid arguing with jackasses but here goes.

The fuck?

To be fair, the kindle as a simple ereader was around way before the iPad. But you could only read books, so theres that.

What?!! I almost bought that at random but didn't, presumably because I knew none of those things! The fuck!!!

It's fitting to me that what has been my favorite part of the series so far has featured as background music one of my favorite songs by my favorite member of my favorite hip-hop group. Wu Tang Forever!

Good

Have you seen him on Portlandia as the doily shop owner? Every time he says "doily" its the funniest thing ever.

Wow. I could have said just about any of those except American Beauty, which I like mostly for Spacey. But definitely A Beautiful Mind. That movie is pure shit.

He became a garbage man! Remember? He was in the third one.

I want to live in a world where Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga can't do any fucking ridiculous thing they want and hide behind "feminism." Is that so ridiculous of a thing for me to want? I also want to live in a world where the phrase "Young Money" is meaningless.

I was fortunate enough to have read J. Michael Straczyinski's Rising Stars long before heroes premiered, so I knew well enough to stay away from such a blatant rip-off.

Somehow in the 2 weeks I spent in japan there wasn't a single Miike movie playing in theaters. That must have been the only two weeks that was true of in like 20 years. Bad news - both Miike and Hardy have dropped out of that project. :(

Not that I know of. A lot of his goofier ones, like that and Ninja Kids, don't get released her, maybe because the distributors don't think we'll get the humor. Horror and action don't really have to translate.

I didn't mind quentin so much. But that is a truly great movie.

I'm interested in Shield of Straw. When will we get it here?

Both Fudoh and Yokai War are pretty awesome.

Full Metal Yakuza is a particular favorite of mine. Zebraman is incredible and a nice antidote to the sameness of all the other superhero movies as of late. Gozu is really good, but weird as fuck. Did you find Eraserhead bizarre? It's fucking nothing compared to Gozu. Sukiyaki Western Django is a lot of fun, but

Japanese B-cinema tends to be so bizarre and refreshingly at its best that I'm willing to forgive it almost any amount of bad CGI.

Miike actually directs just about every genre, but only the horror films get imported and become cult items. The Bird People Of China is basically a Drama, and The Happiness of the Katakuris is a musical comedy, albeit one with a lot of gore. Also Zebraman, which is one of my favorite superhero movies of all time

What the fuck! Did David Lynch direct that?!
