Dear God, how does Katie McGrath manage to look at everyone like she's hungry for them and can she please turn that alluring and intimidating look my way? I very much enjoyed staring at every beautiful face in the love triangle pictured above (shush, Mon-El who?). Rahul Kohli and Katie McGrath managed to get me

I thought she was pretty suave in Twelfth Night.

Casablanca
Rick: Anne Hathaway
Ilsa: Audra McDonald
Louis: Chi McBride

Fifth best Fast and Furious movie. Action sequences were competent, Jason Statham was a delight, Vin Diesel's mopey mcmoperson routine was way better this time than in Fast 4, Charlize Theron was wasted and still ran circles around boring Gaston from Fast 6, and Chris Morgan actually did due diligence in setting up

I was under the impression living expenses were much worse than your experience and that some people have a room and board portion as part of their tuition loan.

I thought her disagreement with it wasn't that it was impossible but that it wasn't as useful as it seemed because housing and living expenses could be just as costly as college tuition and his plan didn't take that into account. The Brookings Institute analysed that Sanders' plan would have helped middle class

Hi, I just checked. It makes no sense to conjecture that Bernie Sanders would bitch about the Human Rights Campaign being "establishment" in a comment made in January 2016 because of their treatment of Keith Ellison in a race that he first started running for in November 2016. He probably didn't call them

Thanks. Your comment made me look at Bo Derek Jarman's post more closely and yes, it makes no sense to conjecture that Bernie Sanders would bitch about the Human Rights Campaign being "establishment" in a comment made in January 2016 because of their treatment of Keith Ellison in a race that he first started running

Oh cool. I didn't know that. It would actually be interesting if Bernie Sanders decided that the Human Rights Campaign was establishment because of that thought process. Do you have a source where Sanders or his campaign said that?

Sure but his beef with them probably had less to do with that than that they chose not to endorse him.

Will he just yell "Establishment" at every person who disagrees with him, including the Human Rights Campaign and Planned Parenthood?

I'm with you. I found the movie too arbitrary to enjoy where it ended up. An ending like you suggested would have felt more consistent to me than red string of fate really wants you two to be together, but not before you've been jerked around by self-erasing phones and mind-erasing sunsets.

Oh fair enough. I suppose I interpreted that part wrong. That and the plot contrivances which leads to actual convenient amnesia jerked me around enough that I never bought that these people loved each other. This is a movie where I never stopped seeing the seams.

these people have been living each other's lives, you could scarcely get to know someone better if you tried.

There's no paycheck back during the era of the sabre tooth tiger.

If it wasn't for women, men don't get born. End of story.

I do think the slavery stuff taints Mon-El's character to the point that only an extended session as an anti-slavery democratic reformer of new Daxam would satisfactorily allow him to atone for his past life. Anything less than that is him picking the easy way out and Kara forgiving him too easily for me to ever buy

What's Kara's story arc this season besides reforming Mon-El? Is it becoming a good reporter? That doesn't feel fleshed out given how little advice she has received or applied toward this job she supposedly loves. Does juggling being Supergirl and a reporter appear to tax her physically or mentally or emotionally in

How do you mean? I thought it was pretty obvious that he was set up to be her love interest from the start and that the writers wanted them together for the Valentine's Day episode. The flirty scenes with Lena, on the other hand, feels like something the writers have started leaning into. My understanding is that the

Thanks. God, that feels like ages ago.
