NE Indiana hit about $5.25 today.  Time to electrify all the cars.

I’m in the same boat there captain. Going to need a new vehicle sometime in the next 18 months, and the GR ‘rola is on the short list. As is the integra, and the Si. If worst comes to worst, I could settle for RAV4 prime, as one of my kids is 6'3" and could struggle to get comfy anywhere in them save for the RAV4.

Said no one in the 70's.

Sterling Archer better damn well show up for a cameo to order a “burger and glengoolie blue”

Just need to start producing this this Krups 223A Mr. Fusion en masse and put that on all the cars.  No gas station?  No problem.  No Supercharger station?  No problem.  Just find your local garbage can for fuel.

Yes, very much yes.

I was thinking the same thing... press photo with a stain on the carpet?  As if airplane passengers weren’t already angry enough.

I appreciate your sentiment, but it is definitely NOT too soon. President Zelensky and many Ukrainians need to have some positive post-war world that they look forward to having. This is inspirational and aspirational for Ukraine as a nation.  Anything that is able to inspire hope in such a dark time for them is

Was there no mention of it’s platform stablemate, the Kia K5? The only difference there is that K5 is the Optima. The Optima in SK was renamed to K5 in 2010 there. Also, the K5/Optima has been around for about half as long as the Sonata. Hyundai bought Kia around the turn of the century and many vehicles were badge

3 cylinder geo metro. Seriously. I routinely got 50+ mpg in mine, and it was a 5-speed power nothing. leased for $99/mo back in the day. Used to strap cafeteria trays under the back wheels and find empty parking lots to go to and perform my rendition of the “less friction is better” ballet.  That car begged to have

old battery, non standard charger, and despite being from the workhorse brand, because it is a low volume compliance car which never had good range at its inception, this is a very hard pass.  As much as I love my toyotas, I could not in good conscience pay five figures for something like that, nor would I recommend

Or California could have joined the dark side like us hoosiers and only supply vehicle registrants with a single plate to be mounted at the rear of the vehicle.

i mean seriously, how many miles can one rack up whilst drifting a rural roundabout for 3 hours before it finally regains traction?

$3100 for a mid-engined supercharged ‘yota anything?  And it runs and has been seemingly well serviced and cared for?  Shut up and take my money!

I submitted the suggestion about the Celebrity. Owen knocked it out of the park with the picture of the wagon with Eurosport trim. That’s what mine was... although the exterior color gun metal gray, so lovingly adorned by accouterments of iron oxide red/brown (that’s rust my friend).

Chevrolet Celebrity with the carbureted version of the 2.8L. That car required you to perfectly perform a rain dance thrice and load up the carb with ether to start it - even when it was perfectly sunny and 72˚F outside.

As an occasional visitor of western NC, I can concur.  Too many twisty scenic mountain roads.  It gets even worse if you are driving them in a Miata with the top down.  Worst possible experience ever.

Somebody needs to tell the convoy filled with sheeple to wake up.

I voted NP, although I fear this can pass just about anything except for a repair shop.  Probably fun as hell THO.

wen rotary miata?  imagine a quad rotor twin turbo’d miata.  maybe take the corvette path and start putting the engine in the back as well as by keeping it up front may be far too challenging to acheive the 50:50 weight distribution.  all bets are off if they toss in a drift mode too.
