Take his Jeep away too. Make him get around on a bike. That would be justice!

Makes no sense either. Texas has a huge cycling scene and only hurts themselves not handling these incidents properly. Over and over again..
Reiterate fuck Texas, or at least the Texans that come into my neighboring state in droves. The most belligerent, assholish cunts I’ve ever interacted with in my life. Stay in Texas fuckbags
I lived in West Texas for a few years and have been cycling for 30 years plus and I’ve only ever been attacked or threatened in Texas. I saw some serious anti bike there for reasons i can’t fathom
These cops are scumbags AND idiots. “He said, she said”?! There’s a fucking video. The person shows you the video and you decline to act, and lie publicly about the reason. OF COURSE, the video is going to be posted and it’s going to go viral.
Fuck Texas. Fuck cops. Fuck that Jeep guy. Charges should be more serious than a misdemeanor. He could have killed the cyclist. No, you don’t fucking joke around like that.
Is 14k even close to the market value now ? I would try and beat some more cash out of the insurance company
if Jeep didnt suck so bad it would have been a half decent SUV. my wife used to have one. the shape/appearance/size was actually decent, and it drove alright, but the interior was cheap, the transmission was trash, electrical wiring could have been better executed by a 4th grader, and the ergonomics (what ergonomics?).
I nearly had to fight my way out of a North Texas Nissan dealership when I had my 18 month old daughter with me. The sales guy, sales manager and general manager somehow had it in their mind they could just bully me into buying a car that day.
I’d rather it go to the manufacturer who designed and built a desirable vehicle, than to a middle man who brings no value to the table.
I would counter and say that they might even bring negative value.
When I was growing up in Germany, “dealers” were showrooms. You went and looked and sat and test drove. And then you’d take an order form and ordered the vehicle as you wanted. You then financed it and/or paid a deposit and got the car some months later. The price was the price.
Yeah but without dealerships, who would be there to give me attitude when I tried to test drive a Mach E?
Salespeople add zero value to the experience. I know more about the cars I’m interested n then they do. They don’t even know the simple things like what they actually have in inventory. Everything they do they look up on the computer, and they are the one thing between me and a good price on a car. If I can actually…
I suspect getting all their dealers to do this will be a lot like herding
catsrats.
I agree. Dealerships are afraid of direct sales because it allows the customer to cut through their BS. Yet for some reason the folks on this site continue to defend dealerships.
Right now, Honda is trying to eliminate dealerships completely in Australia in favor of company-owned showrooms and factory approved representatives. Honda’s national dealer network is not happy about and already has filed suit. I can’t wait to see how that turns out.
I don’t know. I’ve yet to meet anyone who’s bought a car from a dealership coming away thinking, “Gee, that was the best experience of my life, how did I not do this before!?”. Instead it’s usually “Fuck this shit, why can’t I just buy my car direct from the manufacturer?”
EVs don’t have to be the push, nor will they make a substantial change.
Fuck dealers. They need to go away.
