There’s nothing wrong with incentives, if they’re used properly and are time-boxed. The problem in the US isn’t the incentives per se, its the toxic lobbyist and corporate political contribution culture that ensures once you have them, politicians are incentivized to keep them. The US suffers from regulatory capture

Coming to a SEC filing near you...

Fell asleep looking at first photo. Could not make it all the way to the vi

All that work, all that theory and design, all that blood, sweat, and tears—and yet in the end, they drew the most bland-looking new car that I can remember seeing for years.

That is a Ferrari 488, which means she bought a used Ferrari. Hard times for us all.

I don’t know many 18 - 24 year-olds who buy brand new $25 k cars.

That’s still an appallingly high number of very stupid people.

I still can’t believe the ego it takes to run in an election with no plan, no ideas, no reason except to sate their own ego.

Not really resentful, I wouldn’t want that burden or stress from having so, so much power. (financially and politically)

I have a small business with only two vehicles, one diesel and one gasoline doing about 35,000 miles a year for both. Combining fuel and maintenance costs going electric would save me about $4,500 annually for both vehicles so it’s certainly an attractive proposition even though it would probably take a few years to

Also, you guys allow price gouging, allowing a dealership to grossly over inflate the price over RRP for a model they expect to be desired or in high demand.

But you see, US manufacturers have realized that, well, if you don’t sell any cheap cars then people are forced to buy more expensive cars. When there’s such low/no profit margin on either something this small or something slightly larger they see zero incentive to play in this market segment. Also thanks to the

It’s about as stupid as the obama jokes.

Not as long as that literal monster is still in office.

The world is falling apart and people are ordering uber expensive, one-off, rebuilds of their cocks that cost more than PPE for several major cities.

I keep 2 arms for each wiper so I can swap easily on the road, then I refill the arms and toss them back in the trunk. Best of both worlds and easier than replacing the rubber wiper on the car.

Let’s compromise.  Maybe we can recycle the old arm?  Or have the OEM create a wiper arm exchange program?  I can see Subaru doing this.

Caravana and Carmax are growing for one reason. Used car dealers suck. They are dishonest, high pressure, pains in the ass to deal with and everyone is sick of it. I know I can probably get the car cheaper somewhere else, but I don’t care. I want to go buy the car and not feel like I need to take a bath in Clorox

Here’s a better game to play. Drive through the Deep South and count the number of billboards advertising strip clubs and the number of billboards advertising churches. This combines breaking your brain with the fun of having a really close contest.

God creates dinosaurs.
