But Jake was always a pretty random guy. I mean dog.
Thus helping them temporarily patch up their marital problems!
Did you like the episode with lots of ants???
I feel like they didn't have much left in the budget for even that CGI'ed explosion….
Go home, Superman, you're drunk!
Ah, thanks. I remember that moniker but I didn't connect it with the acronym you used.
I consider it because I WANT SO BADLY FOR IT TO BE TRUE.
Yeah, this show is consistently great at both mid-season AND season finales.
I didn't get any of that from my viewing, just woodenness and a superficial attempt at standard "badass" stoicism. But I'm genuinely happy that people seem to like her — and maybe when I watch again I'll look for those layers that you two have mentioned.
BBJH?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I was thinking about Infernal Affairs the whole time, too, but that's one of my favorite movies. IA can't have been the first movie to hit those plot points, can it?
OK, Martine was not working for me in this ep. I felt like in small doses she's fine (just like Uncle Nolan), but with all the focus on her in this ep I felt like her villainy was a bit over the top.
Mini for Mini. I love it.
Yeah, it really depends on how much tolerance he has for procedurals. I was able to tolerate it since it seemed to deviate from formula very early on (1x4 "Cura Te Ipsum") and I liked the actors well enough (though I can understand the complaints about Caviezel's voice and acting style). I would say that for Season 1,…
YES!! I thought she was pretending to be from Germany, and then she started speaking French… weird. Ah well, I still love you, Root.
Also re: Romeo, I'm sure Shaw "convinced" him to give her a glowing recommendation.
I'm with you there. Even at the end of when Shaw was walking out and she was just holding those vials in her bare hands… yikes.
Even Root/Finch, Reese/Shaw kind of fit that model…
