Nah, the C3 is where it happened, once the glassback style arrived and they added some chin to the front.

Co-signed. They’re stunning cars and I want one badly.

My first car was a 71 Vette and it still sits in my garage today almost 20 years later. I’ve thought of selling it from time to time, but every time I drive it I remember how much I enjoy it. It’s the slowest, least efficient, and maybe even least comfortable car I own, but it’s still probably my favorite looking.

The early C3's with the thin chrome bumper will always be my favorite Vettes. They were an iconic, beautiful design that didn’t look like anything else at the time:

That puts you in fairly uncommon territory. Most everyone seems to heap scorn on the C4....despite the fact that there’s a fair bit of C4 DNA in everything through the C7.

I thought that too until I saw one post C8 reveal the other night (photo below).

Could be worse...we’re STILL on Supra overload, and the Supra isn’t even in the same league, performance, or price wise.

Honestly dude, this car is worthy of at least 10 articles, but preferably more. GM basically just brought an F-22 Raptor to an ongoing knife fight.

I do hope you realize this car is news worthy and thus on a news site.

Apparently these motors where known for externally combusting.  Ours stormed through the Ozarks like lightening but the person that bought it wasn’t so lucky.  These were the shit back then though eh???

Owned one of those babies for almost 30 years.  331 stroker.

Nobody made the Mustang II Cobra more famous than this gal...

Also Starman... but yes the image above is GotG

Did your acid just kick in? Circa 1980 I was hanging on to the backs of the Recaro’s in one of these and hot dog would it go. Turbo whistled a little and everything:

Ah, Starman? I haven’t thought about that movie in years

The King Cobra, specifically. It’s just sporty looking enough to make up for the frumpiness. I say swap a modern 5.0 into it and be happy.

Thank you for the safe space. My name is AvalacheGSX, and, while I know I should not,

Wheel arches are too small.  Other than that, it’s “Boss”.

I like the styling of the Mustang II. Some of you do too, and I know it. I can't be the only one. It's okay. We're in a safe place here. Let's talk about our feelings.

FCA builds the perfect new vehicle for DT. Instead of buying one, DT borrows one as a press vehicle to pick up a (free) old crapcan Jeep.
